Today, my colleagues and I went to Fusion Nine in Morrisville for a team lunch. It was a refreshing break from our usual work routine, and we were all excited to enjoy some good food and unwind. The restaurant had a modern and welcoming ambiance, with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe—perfect for a casual office gathering.
We started with a round of starters and drinks. The Virgin Mojito was cool and refreshing with a nice minty kick, while the Masala Soda had the perfect blend of spice and tang, making it a flavorful palate cleanser. The Mango Lassi was rich, creamy, and sweet, offering a pleasant contrast to the savory starters.
The appetizers were definitely the highlight of the meal. The Crispy Corn was golden and crunchy, seasoned just right with a mix of spices. The Veg Manchurian was flavorful, with vegetable balls coated in a deliciously tangy and spicy sauce. The Veg Dumplings, deep-fried to perfection, had a crispy exterior and a soft, flavorful filling. The Paneer Tikka Kebab was smoky and tender, with a well-marinated spice coating that added a punch of flavor.
For the non-vegetarian appetizers, the Chicken 65 was a standout—it was spicy, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Lollipop was equally impressive, with juicy meat coated in a crunchy batter and served with a tangy dipping sauce. The Pepper Chicken Fry was bold and peppery, with a fragrant spice blend that lingered perfectly on the palate.
For the main course, we shared a plate of Street Style Veg Noodles, which had a pleasant wok-fried aroma and a nice balance of vegetables and spices. The Chicken Dum Biryani was fragrant and flavorful, with tender, well-marinated chicken pieces layered between aromatic rice. The accompanying raita provided a cooling contrast to the spiced biryani.
Unfortunately, the desserts were a bit underwhelming. The Rasmalai was soft and mildly sweet but lacked the rich, creamy flavor we were expecting. The Malpua with Rabdi was just okay—the malpua was crispy around the edges but slightly chewy in the center, and the rabdi didn’t have the depth of sweetness and creaminess that would have made the dish more memorable.
Overall, our lunch at Fusion Nine was enjoyable, thanks to the flavorful starters and well-prepared main course. Although the desserts were a bit disappointing, the excellent service and lively atmosphere made it a pleasant experience. It was the perfect spot for a relaxed office lunch, and we left feeling satisfied...
Read moreThis was the first time I visited this place with my friends and family. My friends had already bragged so much about this place, food and award winning restaurant story. We all reached there after a long drive and were decently hungry. We ordered crispy corn (which was one of the best and most ordered dishes, as per our server), chicken lollipop, chicken and veg momos as appetizers. We also instructed the server that we will order the main course sometime, as we were super excited and hungry. However, things turned upside down when one first order came "THE CRISPY CORN", we started digging from the serving plate itself, and it was sooooo chewy, oily, i do not have words honestly, it started getting stuck at everyone's teeth, like it's pasted with glue. OMG, horrible experience, then we tasted chicken lollipop, it was very bland and too burnt, we could only taste the burnt chicken. We called the server as we were highly disappointed, to provide us with toothpicks 😢, and to his courtesy he brought 4 toothpicks as we were 4 people 😂, we complained about the food and he was not so apologetic. To my surprise I came to know that the owners/managers of that restaurant were also present there and they didn't even bother to ask the concern when we were playing the bill, this shows how much they bother after winning an award. After all this drama i wanted to use the restroom and wash my hands, Oh lord, there was one washbasin full of puke, not sure if someone got sick after eating their food or what and no one had bothered to clean that mess. Trust me, that was the last thing I would wish to see after eating that bad food. Overall, a very bad and horrible experience one would imagine. Not recommended at all, and this is my first time writing such a big review, that's how...
