Maurices — Local services in Moses Lake

Maurices is always my first stop for clothing for myself and my teenager. I love the clothes, but it's more than that. The customer service there, and the way they just make you feel at home, just can't be beat anywhere else.

I assumed I'd already left a review for here because it's one of my favorite places, but when I realized I didn't, I was happy to do it now, especially after all the current COVID chaos. In these last several months, we've all felt extreme stress, fear, agitation, and increasingly irritated. Everywhere I go has this stress in the air that is thick and palpable. But you know what? Not Maurices. For the first time in months, I went in there the other day, and despite the extreme measures being imposed by the government and corporate, it still just felt good inside. There was zero tense emotion in the air. When I was told at the door I needed a mask unless I had a medical condition preventing it, when I declined, I was prepared for a hassle...but I didn't get one. The entire staff respected me, and I was never asked again beyond the door. I wasn't treated any differently than anyone else either. Despite all the extra measures, the air was free of stress and it felt just like my normal favorite women's clothing store. The staff was just as amazing as always. They laughed and joked with me and provided the same amazing customer service they're known for. My shopping experience there was the first time I'd been anywhere in months that actually felt good inside.

I got two pairs of jeans as a gift so I didn’t have the receipt or the tags, but I had the phone number to the credit card that was used. That wasn’t good enough and the jeans were too big so I wasn’t able to wear them I had to just eat the cost, so I left them there with their name on them and a current Jean that they sell today, they don’t even look at what I had, if she did she would have known they still have them in their store so someone gets to keep my free jeans that wouldn’t have worked for me anyway. The woman was rude and wasn’t interested in looking to see that they still sell the same jeans in their store. Thanks Maurice’s for not looking out for your customers. I’m not a crook and would never deceive any business, but thanks for labeling me as a crook.it wasn’t like I was looking for money back I just wanted to exchange for something that I could actually wear. When I need to do some clothes shopping this place is my go to! They have super cute clothes, but the main reason I keep coming back is the staff is amazing! The girls are always so sweet and helpful! Yesterday I worked with Alex and she was so great! I was having a minor breakdown trying to dress my after babies body and she was so great! She helped me find a couple outfits that made me feel beautiful again. One of the best shopping experiences I’ve had thus far. I hope she sticks around because I will be asking for her again...
