Senior Citizens Center — Local services in Moses Lake

Always has great service! Amazing sales! On this visit they had a back to school clothing sale 1/2 price on all clothing with an excellent selection, name brand clothing and non-major name brand; however, all clothing and coats were in excellent condition! Great for all of us that can't afford to buy brand new stuff with all the cost of our children going back to school! I purchased 2 dresses that would have been at least $60 to $100 each new for $4 a piece! I also purchased big round yarn that you can't find anywhere these days.... I love this because it allows me to create things that others cannot because the items are not available anywhere and the Senior Citizen Center gets items like this regularly! Today for $2 each amazing finds! I love crafts and sewing and they always have things for prices that are amazing I got beads there as well for $0.50 that would have cost me at least $6 at the store! Love this store and that the money from the purchases go to the senior citizens activities, whatever there cost of the building there in and the programs that they have that give seniors a place to go to activities and give them a place to meet new people and and create friendships where they can have a place to visit and...

I really like the idea of donating locally but my experience will preclude me from donating to this establishment. I drove up to the drop off area and was met with total chaos: there was a huge overflowing dumpster; boxes and what looked like trash everywhere; and two men throwing things around - not caring if items were broken or not. When I told one of the men I had things to donate he very rudely indicated to “just drop them off.” I had breakable items and didn’t want them to be broken. Needless to say, I went to Goodwill where I was greeted cordially, in a clean and orderly environment, and was helped with the unloading...

Books for .10! Seriously, you can fill your entire book shelf with 5.00! I also bought so many tea cups and plates for a party and they didn't up the price the way thrift stores seem to these days. Great place to find...
