I stopped in here earlier this week with my mom who was visiting from out of town. I don’t want to give this place a 1 star, because I really do think maybe we just caught our techs on a bad day. Everyone was really nice, but both of us left feeling like we didn’t get what we asked for. We each chose a gel color and were told our techs could incorporate the swirl designs shown on the sample nails provided. While neither of our manicures turned out like the sample, the owner (I’m assuming) was nice enough to not charge extra since this was the case. Despite being a bit disappointed in both of our manicures, we paid and left. However, it’s been less than a week and both of our gel manicures are chipped and peeling. I’m not sure if our nails weren’t prepped well enough before the application or not capped and cured correctly, but it is a bit disappointing to pay $40 for a manicure that doesn’t even last a week. The salon itself had an inviting atmosphere, was clean, and like I said, everyone was friendly, my only complaint is the quality of the work we received. I’d like to give them another chance, and the benefit of the doubt, but did want to provide honest feedback about our experience.
Update: I’m a little late to update, but I did want to add that the owner contacted me directly, set up a time and day for me to come back in, and re-did my nails. I would give them another chance, and understand that everybody can have an off day sometimes. I appreciate them taking the...
Read moreFYI to anyone who gets pedicures:
So yesterday I had to have a procedure done where they removed part of my toenail and skin to remove an infection that was caused by getting a pedicure a few weeks ago. How did that happen you ask? With my job I wear closed toed boots most of the time and I get minor ingrown toenails, just on my big toes. Like most people when getting a pedicure, the pedicurist will normally inform you of the ingrown and then snip it right out. Little did I know, they are NOT supposed to do that unless it is right at the tip of the toenail. Well while getting my latest pedicure at Bellagio Nail Salon in Mt. Juliet beside Publix (1st time I had been there) the pedicurist that was doing my toes dug to the bottom of my toenail. It hurt while he was doing it but I assumed he was doing his job and the ingrown nail must have been deep. WRONG! 2 1/2 weeks later I am at a podiatrist having part of my toenail removed to be able to remove an infection caused by Bellagio Nail Salon and the pedicurist doing their job improperly. I am also 24 weeks pregnant and getting any type of infection can be nerve wrecking as I do not want anything to harm our baby. So, please make sure you trust the Nail Salon you are getting pedicures from and if you have an ingrown toenail that needs to be removed any further from the tip of the toenail seek a medical professionals guidance. It may seem over the top but it's much better than missing a toenail or getting a...
Read moreI dont usually leave bad reviews unless I feel like crying. The staff are pleasant and the owner is sweet, but the owner, Hang, really messed up on this one and left me hanging. First, she assumed I wanted straight nails (vs. regular curved ones based on the picture I showed her which doesn't even have a side view of the nails, so she made an assumption and chose not to confirm), second I asked for coffin, this was barely acceptable for coffin and third my 4th finger was completely crooked. I spent 2 plus hours there, so I didn't bother wanting to have it fixed (which would be tedious since this was a brand new set). I will be looking for a new place. I know you don't care if you lose a customer, but you should care how your skills match up to other places, because neglect and careless is not something customers choose to pay for. (P.S. I had a refill done prior to this by Hang, initially done by my best girl Michelle from Chattanooga at CHA Nail Spa, and Hang did a good fill, but the foundation was already in place, so I figured Hang was good and was engrossed in my book the second time around, so didn't notice the mistakes till it was too late since she was working with a blank canvas nails). Major nail drop and disappointment. It doesn't even look like the picture...
