Santorini’s Table — Restaurant in Mount Juliet

My husband and I both adore Mediterranean cuisine. When we noticed that this place was going to open, we decided we needed to try it sooner than later. So we went for lunch today and we’re not disappointed.

The brothers who are running the place were very accommodating, asked questions, checked in periodically and answered all my questions about some specific things. Very much customer oriented and very appreciated on my End.

The complementary hummus appetizer was fantastic. My husband doesn’t like hummus. My husband didn’t leave the hummus alone. I had to fight him for it.

My husband had the mixed grill and thoroughly enjoyed that. I had the lamb shank and I will go back at least once a week or so if possible just for that dish. I also had the Arabic tea and it was delightful as well.

There are so many things we want to try there! My husband and I decided this will probably be our date spot for our weekly dinner. Dinners out.

Although they have only been open a couple of weeks, it is smooth sailing. I am looking forward to going back and trying even more...

So impressed in my first visit. The complimentary house made hummus was excellent, and I typically do not care for hummus. The fried pita chips were a surprise. Portions are huge. Mom had the Greek salad with gyro meat. She loved it. I very much enjoyed the kofta plate. The kofta was very juicy with just enough spice. We also had to try the baba ganoush, which was zippy tart, very good and unusual. To say the least we brought home enough of everything for lunch tomorrow.
