TheraV Family Massage — Local services in Mount Juliet

I booked a deep tissue and trigger point therapy massage, I was assured by the receptionist that this therapist would dig in and not let up. The therapist barely used any pressure even when I told her more than once that she can go harder I can take the pressure. I also told her at the beginning of the session the only areas I wanted her to work on and focused on, she didn't do that either. She went through her "spa routine" which was nice and relaxing however it is not what I paid for. The receptionist said they wanted me to leave with some relief and instead I left in tears because it's extremely frustrating to be in pain all of the time and pay a lot of money for a service and not get what you pay for. I have been through multiple massage therapists and this one was the worst. I'll never recommend this place to anyone. Also sent a message explaining my frustration it was checked and never responded to. I called and left a message and have not heard back yet. I wanted a massage to relieve a pinch in my shoulder so I requested a medium deep tissue massage. Velma was aware of my request but instead of relieving my pain, she made it worse. During the massage, I told her that she was hurting me but she kept reassuring me that it was necessary in order to help the pain. I called the next day and was told I needed to give it a couple of days and drink a lot of water which I did. Velma never called me back to see if it was better. I am now in pain through both shoulders, neck and my right arm. I also have a constant headache. I plan on going to another massage therapist to see if someone else can help.

My boyfriend and I were looking to do something new for our 5 year anniversary and after searching for a place to get a massage, I came across this one. We got a couples massage and from the minute we arrived, it was welcoming. Vilma and another woman that was very sweet but I did not catch her name did an amazing job. The whole experience was relaxing yet therapeutic. Vilma said that she did a combination on me due to tightness and it was greatly appreciated. We will for sure be returning!
