AM Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Mount Juliet

Today, I ordered take out for lunch. I had not eaten at AM Asian in two years, before the restaurant flooded. I ordered from the take out menu That someone had given me today. Lunch should have cost $6.99 plus a 10% discount given this week by the restaurant. When I picked up the order, the price was $10.96 including the discount. I brought this to the clerk's attention. She said that the menus were two-years-old and they did not want to spend the money redoing the menu because they change prices frequently. She said that most people order off the website where the prices are correct. She also stated that they have two big boxes of these menus with the old prices, and they're going to use those before they order new menus. I asked her to give me the price that was listed on the menu She refused. She said that I would see the quality was excellent and the serving size was huge - like a dinner serving. I paid for the order and left. When I opened the container, it was about half full. That's not what she said there would be. The taste of the food was excellent. However, I had ordered fried rice and they gave me brown rice. It was still good. The fortune cookie was stale, period. I'm very disappointed in my first time I've gone to this restaurant after a two-year hiatus. I will not be going back.

I haven't been in there since or 4 years a go. Had a good and a bad experience. I came yesterday .they gave me a menu that says lunch menu 6.99 for a lunch. I said I wanted Kung pow with no meat veg chop small and and fried tofu instead of meat. She gave me a menu of lunch special says 10.99 and charge me 15.99. I said why she said everything go up but she lied to me .I don't like that I just wanted a lunch special. Today I order the same thing .she charge me 17.99 for the same thing. I ask her why she told me she gave me 2 dollar. She is very mid leading. I have to say it's good that's the only thing. Everything else was mid leading and bad. She charge me for chopping my veggies small and brown sauce I felt it was misleading and felt she is out to get my money. Everything goes up but don't lie to get more money for the food put the right price and try to be honest. Honest is the best policy. That's what the bible say. She believe in God . My wife and ate there the other night and really enjoyed the food and the service! She ordered sweet and sour chicken (very good) and I got the broccoli chicken at the suggestion of our server and it was great! We also got the crab Rangoon (best we've had in Nashville area) and it was great!

They need to work on ambiance: there was no music playing other than the music coming from the kitchen (it was contemporary Christian music though!) and some generic program was playing on the TV. I would suggest a nice video with Asian music that shows the beauty of the Asian countries or get an aquarium, etc. I n the front entry was a asian painting with a verse from the Bible written in asian language and the English interpretation. We will be there often as they are offering 10% discount through their grand opening period (think it is through November!) I would like them on facebook but they dont seem to...
