We’ve been frequent shoppers of Laurel Liquors and never had a problem until recently. We bought a six pack of Forgotten Boardwalk Funnel Cake beer and Barefoot Wine Spritzers two weeks ago, our usual beverages. The Forgotten Boardwalk beer was skunked and had expired in early December. The Barefoot Spritzers, which were opened today, were canned on 3/23/17 and had a horrible odor when opened. We are disappointed that not just one of the products purchased but both were not good. This was partly our fault for not looking at this in the store, however it is unsettling knowing that there are expired products on the shelf. Read moreAs a business owner myself, I fully understand the importance of profit margins and pricing strategy. That said, I was surprised when I saw a bottle of Veuve Clicquot priced at $90. This champagne is already a premium product, but it typically retails for $55–$70 at most other liquor stores. I got it at this ridiculous price…It’s not a matter of affordability—I’m not broke—but there’s simply no justification for such a steep markup, especially when the shopping experience doesn’t offer anything particularly upscale in return. No ambiance at the store, not upscale store, not smelling good…
Unfortunately, this will be my last visit, and I can’t in good conscience recommend this...
Read moreThis store didn’t have what I am looking for, but they do have excellent customer service and attentive staff. The gentleman behind the counter offered to order the wine I was interested in and was very polite and helpful. There is plenty of parking and they carry a well stocked, orderly store that is very clean. The prices are a bit higher than other places in the area, but still one of the best liquor stores I have seen in Burlington County. I prefer this store far and wide above...
