Customer service could be better though the owner is very nice if you contact him. I ordered a couch. They order from NC and it takes 6 weeks or so which is expected. The customer has to be proactive in checking their order because I'm assuming they're super busy which is fantastic for them. A larger order may warrant more attention. They've been in this area awhile. We bought from them in the past, but it was years ago.
When the couch finally did come in, it had a large gap in the back. They had someone come out, take it apart and fix it, which to me, wasn't great, but was the solution offered to me. One of the cushions was sewn improperly so the manufacturer shipped us two new cushions. Then a button popped off--we'd had the couch less than a month when all of this occurred, etc. and we baby our furniture and take very good care of it. I think we just got a lemon, but it made me question the quality.
The sales people don't really have recommendations as to why you should choose this fabric or that but they're nice when you're trying to decide to make a purchase. The store has a nice ambiance to it as well.
They ordered a new couch for me after several emails and phone calls explaining all the issues. I also emailed the owner who responded promptly and was super nice. It took 6-7 weeks again. When it was delivered (delivery people are great), one of the cushions had three tiny ink spots on it but because I was so tired of having to email, call and explain and deal with it, I just gave up and have to always use the side of the cushion without the ink spots. I guess whomever constructed the couch dripped some ink on it, but it shouldn't have been that way, at least in my opinion.
I think it's a very lovely place and maybe the people in the store are tired, but I think their customer service could improve.
This was last year so things may have changed. I think it's good to make vendors aware of things because that's the only way they know and know how to address issues they may not be aware of concerning quality, customer...

Read moreCustomer service is not their specialty! The first women who help me with my custom upholstery was super nice but was moving on in the next week. I ordered and waited and waited and waited. I knew it would be long but when I started to wonder I called (8 weeks later) and they acted as if I wasn't following their rules. She snapped at me about it being on back order and then found the chair had actually shipped. 2 weeks later I call because I hadn't been called, same attitude, like how dare you call us, we call you! But they hadn't and guess what my expensive chair was sitting at their warehouse. I enjoyed the people working the warehouse! Very friendly AND helpful, that is why they are receiving 2 stars instead of one. I do not appreciate the Mt. Pleasant store attitude and will not shop there again. Unfortunate, because I do like their...
