I took my bus in for an oil change/service back in spring before a trip. the "service advisor" came to tell me that the technician was having problems getting one of the oil filters off. That they needed to call a diesel tech to try it "tell me how much it's gonna cost" THEN they came back about another 45 min later to tell me l had a major oil leak. She showed me 2 pictures. One of some oil splatter on some parts under my bus. And another pic of a rather large puddle of oil on the ground under my bus. I was confused. I go outside to where my bus is parked all the time and look on the asphalt and there is ZERO drips or puddles or evidence of ANY leak. So I take those pics and contact the service manager be I notice the picture of the puddle of oil is BRAND NEW OIL. He back peddles and apologizes & says he doesn't know why they said that was an oil leak but then proceed to give me an almost $400 bill for the oil change & service with removing the filter. Then July/Aug-I should have known NOT to take my bus back to them. But I had an issue with my bus and had to have it towed and it was late at night so I had it towed there. tow truck driver had to disconnect the drive line. Took literally 5 minutes. He told me what it would take to reconnect. (My husband is also a diesel mechanic & he confirmed) After a few days of having my bus, I get a call from the âservice advisorâ Megan. She asks me whatâs wrong with it. Mind you I told them the next morning after it was towed specifically what was going on & what they are looking for and WHERE the problem was. It was burning electrical & smoking when driving. The tech hooked up the driveline (again Iâm aware of what it entails) to drive it in the shop & assess. She proceeds to tell me the tech said my ac compressor is locked up. She then quotes me $6600 to fix it. I was floored. & after the oil change thing I start questioning the legitimacy of this. I ask to speak to the tech to get direct information on the problem bc she canât answer my questions. She says sheâll find out and call me back. She calls me back with a quote of a 26 1/2 hour job at $170 per hour. I call texas truck ac in Dallas who I have dealt with before and did excellent work for me & at a reasonable rate. I tell the service guy whatâs goin on. He says that sounds outrageously expensive for the issue. I proceed to call Megan back ask for a specific run down of parts & whatâs going to be done. I then call texas truck ac back and give them the information. He proceeded to tell me this is a 16-18 hour job. And 26 1/2 is just absurd. I told Megan that I needed to talk to the service manager. I waited & never got a call. I was told he was out and everyone would be out the next week for some kind of training thing so they probably wouldnât call me that week but sheâd give him the message. I told her I was thinking of having it towed elsewhere bc of the outrageous number of hours quoted. She told me if I wanted to pick it up I had to pay the $170 diagnostic fee and $170 for the tech hooking up the driveline. I questioned why the driveline was being charged for an hour when it was literally a 5-10 min job? She said she didnât know. Now Iâm getting upset and still wanting contact with service manager. The following week went, no call bc they were âin trainingâ and then no call the next day or 2 of the following week. I finally get a hold of Brit the service manager that Wednesday. I ask him about the 26 1/2 hours and tell him what I had talked about the ac issues with the ac company and my concerns about being charged 10 1/2 EXTRA hours. He says I talked to my tech and shop foreman and they say thatâs the correct amount of hours. I question the drive line. He tells me they had to âcut ties, align the holes, drive it in the shop and put the bolts in and torque it down & that was an hours worth of workâ. When I get up there to pay my bill was the diag fee & 1.5 hours of labor for the 10 min drive line hook up!!! đĄ I get there to pick it up and theyâve got several vehicles parked perpendicular in front of...
Read moreDo not buy a vehicle here unless you want to be stuck with thousands of dollars in repairs that they take no responsibility for!! My grandpa purchased a 2018 ford f150 in October of 2022 with 34,000 miles on it. In the last almost 2 years this vehicle has been nothing but a money pit. The vehicle now has 50,000 miles on it and has spent 10 months of the last almost two years in the shop since purchase. My grandparents were quoted the shop ticket for the vehicle would be $13,000. After pulling the carfax, they found out there was no service history on the vehicle, the vehicle was wrecked prior to the purchase, and that the car was purchased from auction and shows no history of even being offered for sale by the dealership on the carfax which is shady in itself, it also shows no history of the vehicle being inspected before being put up for sale. As someone who is a finance manager at another dealership, this is insanely shady. I have never in my life heard of a dealership screwing over their customers this bad. If you enjoy giving tens of thousands of dollars to a company that will leave you high and dry when their negligence leads to you not having a vehicle for months on end, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I recommend going...
Read moreRob Hodges was my salesman, and should be yours if you want the best deal in Texas. I've bought a lot of vehicles as I trade about every 18 months. Robs communication before the sell and answering all my questions was beyond top notch. A true professional at what he does. Customer service is huge for me as well as time. Was by far the easiest transaction I've ever made purchasing a new Truck. His product knowledge is excellent and the best price in the state of Texas was just a bonus to the overall experience before and after the sale. I was extremely impressed by his process and Zeke in the Finance office was great as well. Best experience I've ever had buying a new truck. Go see Rob and dont even waste your time anywhere else....
