4/2/2023 @ 11:10am. Was going to order and pickup here through the online store. Had everything selected and quantities in my cart. The checkout process froze on me and wouldn't restore or update by the time I got to the restaurant. Either way i still wanted my food. So I told them my order and had to repeat 3x that I wanted an extra, large mashed potato with gravy. And it was heard as Mac and cheese. The order was repeated back. 16pc, 1 coleslaw, 1 mac n cheese, 1 red bean, and rice and 2 gallon sweet teas. Neither of those sound similar. So after 3x times of telling them what I was ordering, it was finally right. I had blueberry lemon cream cheese fried pies in my cart. It showed available at this location on the online store I selected. I asked for them, was told "nope, we don't carry those anymore" I ordered a 16pc family meal. So that means I got 3 large sides with it. Bear in mind, i asked for an extra mashed potato with gravy. Did I get that extra that i paid for? No, I sure didn't. No, thank you, come again, have a great day. Nothing. Had the window shut in my face before I had the opportunity to ask for the food that I paid for, that I did not get. This was almost an $80.00 order of food. Very much worth getting what I paid for. But I just left. It wasn't worth the hassle of already having to deal with the incompetence of not getting my order right. Not having products, that I could have actually ordered online and paid for. Only to find out that you no longer carry it. The reality of it; is that if you're not going to give people what they paid for. You're literally stealing from people. In hindsight, I feel a little better about my online store order, not letting my order go through. I feel as much, if it did. And I came to pick it up. This store would have stolen more money from me, over some fried pies that they no longer carry, that I legitimately would have paid for. And probably wouldn't even bother given me a refund for it. That's just the petty vibe this guy was giving off. Nevertheless.. the guy taking orders. You're a sorry individual. Zero customer service. You're rude, and clearly not public service criteria. Let it happen to you and you'll go into "kyle" mode and want to see the manager. You should be fired, period. And I won't return. This popeyes will NOT get another single...
Read moreLet's play a game called the Popeye's Lottery: First, enter the store and set your timer. Shortly after starting you'll notice several side games, including placing bets on whose orders will be wrong (any order with an item count greater than zero qualifies), what types of chicken they will be out of, how long it will take for an order to be served, etc. Once you've enjoyed your nice long wait in line, check your time. If you're under 30 minutes you're still in the game! Go ahead and place your order and make the normal small talk. You get penalized one minute each if your cashier complains about how hard, confusing, or long her day has been, or if she scowls. Once you've placed your order you can stop the timer and tally your penalty minutes. Still under 30? Of course not, but we'll pretend you are. Go find a seat and congratulate yourself. Sometime within the next 5 to 30 minutes you'll be delivered a tasty plate of food! The end game involves verifying your receipt vs. your actual order vs. what's been placed in front of you. For every discrepancy go ahead and add another of those penalty minutes. Remember, you don't want more than 30. You probably ordered spicy chicken and they delivered regular, or buttermilk ranch and got blackened, or asked for honey sauce to top off their sweet sweet biscuit only to discover there is none. The sky is the limit here, and this is why the game is called the Popeye's Lottery. If you lost earlier on (you did), but received an accurate order, go ahead and count yourself as a winner because the food will be tasty and you'll probably be happy. The odds of this happening are approximately 1 in 10,000 though. You've...
Read moreI have been to this Popeyes many many time and was our favorite place to go. We order online and pick it up it's ready to go and never any issues. Last night my husband and I went to pick up our order amd walked in there were 3 young high girls working that were playing on there phone and looked behind there shoulders as we stood there and they continued on there phones after about 10 my husband said hello and the Manager said oh we waiting on a dude to come back. So I asked if we had to wait for that dude go come back to pick up our order? She printed my order receipt and layed it down and the 3 made it known they were frustrated to have to put together such a large order. I told them our food is suppose to be ready for pick up that I order 30mins ago. Then the 3 decided to go to the back room together and laugh as one came out and said it was going to be 20mins before chicken is done. We waited The manager that night that just touched the register and cash decided to make our food and throw raw chicken in as she touched other surfaces in the store none of the 3 girls washed there hands after touching there phones and each others hands and clothes no hair nets and no mask I complained to the 17 year old manager that then said she was refusing to "DROP chicken " for us and we were not going to get our food. I had asked for a refund and she denied my refund and said to go to the app they dont give refunds at the store. There is some serious sanitizing and health hazards that need to be addressed as well as training for proper customer care at...
