Not Just Franks Cafe — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Just watched a customer let their dog put its paws on the service counter no less than 4 times. It was in full view of staff and one staff member even fed the dog sliced meat out of the order window. Some people probably see nothing wrong with this and normally I wouldn't, but the problem is that no staff members cleaned or sanitized the counter before another customer ordered their food. I then watched the staff place customer food orders on the same uncleaned counter. This is a violation of health standards for food and beverage business. Outdoor seating, comfortable, and a quick bite if you’re on the go. I saw a few reviews on here that gave a couple of negative feedback. I know we all have our own preferences and of course we may have different experiences, etc. I’ve moved to this town four months ago and I started eating here pretty much a couple times a week because their breakfast sandwiches and burritos are outstanding. If you have a negative experience, I suggest you try it one more time and pick something different than what you usually get. That can definitely give you a better sense of how the food is. I used to love this place, we ate here sometimes two times a week. Apparently they changed owners, and with that quality and taste and service. The venetian chicken salad used to be an awesome unique tasting salad. Now it's just just a salad with not so good chicken salad on top with unnecessary celery. I asked if they could make it like the old salad mixes together with the original dressing and was told I could pour the dressing on myself and mix it up. My son got a kids hot dog that came with a poppy seed bun for some reason. Kids don't like poppyseed hotdog buns.
