Times Square Mall — Local services in Mount Vernon

This mall used to be a good sized mall but with the closing of several stores over time it's not what it used to be, it's decent at best. Even now just recently with the closing of Gordmans, and JC Penny's that been here for a long time. It's sad to see several empty spaces, that's why I gave only three stars, I just hope they can bring some more business back in the future. However it still has some good store in here. Shoe Sensation is a real good place to shop for name brand tennis shoes, work shoes, and work boots, several other footwear, I've bought several work shoes here at good prices. Glik's is a good store to find some name brand clothes for men and women. Hibbett Sports has come real nice clothes for people that like sports. There are a few more stores like, Maurice's for woman to shop, GNC Nutrition, Bath and Body Works. There are also some good stores connected to the outside of the mall like Big Lots, Ross Dress For Less, and Hobby Lobby are nice places to check out. We are just driving through on the way home from a long trip and we stopped here because they had a Wendy's. I haven't had Wendy's in a couple years and was happy with the experience. I had a chili and a chicken sandwich with jalapenos. One of my daughters had a burger and the other one had a chicken sandwich as well. There were several large trucks in the plaza and they were all over their engines and skidding their tires. It's clearly a cool hangout for the teenagers of the area.
