I've been here multiple times since VIP took GameStop's place, and each time Misty and another gentleman (didn't quite catch his name) have been nothing but helpful, kind, and full of recommendations. First time I went in looking for a copy of Splatoon 3 when it released. Walmart had sold out so I turned here and was quickly and efficiently helped. The second time around, I was pre-ordering Tears of the Kingdom. Each time I returned to keep paying off the preorder, the staff rememberepre-order, and processed the transactions swiftly, never failing to smile. Quick interjection here to say that they willingly stayed up well past closing time for Tears of the Kingdom's late night release! Most recently, I was searching for Funko Pops as a birthday gift for a friend, and Misty helped me out with picking the perfect ones for him. I can't say enough good things about this place. I get you need to make money but when I trade in highly desirable GameCube and N64 games and am not even offered half I have a problem. And they will lie directly to your face and act like you don't know your own merchandise. Took in an item that was a recent system. GameStop was offering 16. or 18 and some change with a pro membership. They offered me 15 and said they were doing 20% more than gamestop. Now that would be okay if I wasn't lied directly to and they like to act like they're doing you a favor they are not. I've been shopping with Bill since 2011 and he has never done me any favors. offers me as little as possible and they virtue signal constantly trying to act like they help people out and they don't. I would never recommend trading in at VIP game store you're better off on marketplace or heck. First national in Boise will give you no less then half in cash on desirable...

I need to let the owner know that this location is doing great. Even better than great. This location is phenomenal. Super friendly and patient staff. I don’t know if it is because I am so used to the layout of the Boise store, but walking into the Mountain Home store feels a lot more overwhelming due to the sheer amount of stuff. I spent maybe a hour in the store, and still didn’t see everything. They have a HUGE selection of modern and retro games, toys, and so much more. Every time I have stopped by this location, I’ve been able to purchase some cool promotional items. They also have a lot of high end Sega titles. Highly highly recommend making...
