Europa Bavarian Deli âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
On 9/28/21, I stumbled upon a German Deli in Mountain Home. It opened March 25, 2021. Owner/cook Christina Greene uses her motherâs and family recipes. She makes a couple breads, but also imports German breads and deli meats, as well as other products. All desserts are made in house. Every Friday and Saturday, she has specials that are not on the menu. They are available until they are sold out. To see what specials are available, like and follow her Facebook page.
For lunch, I ordered Goulash over homemade Spaetzle ($15.95). The goulash is described as âa hearty and spicy version of Hungarian paprika goulash made with pork roast, served with German Spaetzle or Italian gnocchi. The goulash comes with a green salad. I paid extra so that I could try small versions of three homemade salads. There are two potato salads. One is a German potato salad; the other is Christinaâs grandmotherâs potato salad. I opted for her grandmothers version, which includes bacon and egg. I also got cucumber salad and German cabbage slaw. For dessert, I got a slice of German Chocolate Cake ($5.95) to go. Christina makes hers with dark chocolate. Everything was excellent!
Whether youâve ever had German food or not, itâs worth the trip to Mountain Home to check out this little gem. Right now itâs Oktoberfest. All the more reason to visit.

Read moreWent there to have lunch with a couple of people. It was our first time there and I'm extremely happy to say that everything was delicious~ I ordered the Schnitzel burger and WOW. It was incredible. The pretzel bun was toasted nicely and the meat was excellent as well~ I had a Bavarian Mustard on it that was sweet and really put together the sandwich for me.
Definitely worth the wait! We could hear her pound the meat out in the kitchen and shortly after, the entire place filled with the smell of food and it was extremely hard to not ask when it would be ready from how hungry the smells made us.
I also got an Italian Zuppo soup and salad with it, and the soup itself could have won me over. Warm, bits of sausage/brat in it, good hearty chunks of potato and it has a lot of seasonings.
I would highly highly recommend you visit this place if you have some time to wait for a genuinely hearty, warm meal that'll definitely fill you up!!!
I'll be coming back...
