On 4/21/23 my husband had surgery. As we left the surgi center they told us they called in a prescription to CVS pharmacy in Blandon, PA. They also said he had to take his medication as soon as possible as the pain would be setting in. That was 3:30. We drove straight to the CVS in Blandon. We get there and there are hand written signs "Pharmacy closed for the day, emergent situation". We call another CVS who says they can't transfer it and the Dr. has to call it in again. Now it is 4:30 and the surgi center is about to close. Long story short is my husband after violently throwing up from pain and passing out finally got his prescribed medication at 8:30 PM, 5 HOURS later. I had to travel to other CVS's and call on-call Drs. The on-call Dr questioned the pharmacist at the other CVS saying how do you just close a CVS when there are patients who need meds for day of procedures. So that is my question, how could you just close with out any outreach to Drs. who prescribed medication for surgery that day? When i got back inside, they ignored me for 10 min while i stood there watching them joke back and forth. When they finally acknowledged me, they couldn't find my prescription. Then one of the girls found it on their desk and threw it across the pharmacy onto the ground. If you want to be treated like the read headed stepchild instead of a customer, you'll feel at home.
If you want good customer service, go across the street to Rite Aid. They're always...

She kept telling me she couldnt give it to me because they had it on the shelf and instead of showing me which one she just pointed and said to just pick one they are all the same. Also i dont wanna pay for something i can get for free. She shoved a piece Of paper in my face and called me stupid. We had a screaming match and then im guessing her boss he was saying rude degrading things to me as i walked away. From now on my sons meds will be sent to the pharmacy at his doctors office. (Also i did yell back at then to defend myself dont get it...
