I've had my eye on this church for some time now. I finally took the step and visited this church for the first time. I can't believe I haven't attended sooner!! My daughter and I felt so welcomed, from the first step at the door, to having a seat, (they even had chocolate's for everyone) and to the end of the service. They even gave us a gift for being newbies. I have never experienced anything like it before, I felt so connected. The band was amazing, and Steven, amazing pastor!! Avenue has absolutely changed my & my husband’s life! We started coming here a few months after they had started as a church plant and after struggling with the church in general, dealing with hurt from past experiences, we came in vulnerable & really not ready to “join” another church. But GOD had other plans. He worked through the people at Avenue & gave us the most amazing local community, friends, & healing experience. I can’t imagine my life without Avenue! I went to Avenue Church the day of launch day by myself feeling very nervous about trying out a new church. I walked out knowing that this was my new home. Everyone is so incredibly welcoming. Whether you’re coming by yourself, with a friend, or with your family, the people here always make it a point to try to get to know you personally from day 1.
