Went to the Burlington Murrieta Store a couple of days ago to shop. I bought three bras and only one worked out. I could not try them on there as their dressing rooms close an hour prior to closing. This was okay. I bought them and then tried them on at home. I came in today to return the other two and the cashier would only give me store credit despite it being within the 30 day policy and the bras being in perfect condition. The cashier would not elaborate on why and just said “yeah, I know. Sorry!” As if that’s a real reason why. I am not confrontational so I left it at that. Luckily my S.O. was there and went to get the manager and asked why. They said it was a problem with the register which doesn’t make sense. Registers don’t typically glitch like that. If that’s really why then they need to get it serviced or hop on another one as there’s literally 13 registers there. Luckily, I was able to get my cash back, but overall the situation was not ideal and confusing. I am irritated and will not be returning back. I do not recommend going to this location. Not sure if they don’t know their own return policy or if the register didn’t have cash but this place sucks. Unprofessional and even the manager seem scared...
Read moreAs a mother of 8 kiddos, this mom is always on the look out from deals on anything. With that said, I use to be a constant spender at the local ROSS. On one of my shopping trips to ROSS we couldn’t find what we needed, so we happened to go next door to Burlington and BAM!!! It was like a smack in the face……the store was clean, open, organized, prices were exceptional, the selection was wide and the workers were friendly and helpful. You know the feeling when you come from Walmart and then head over to Target. It’s like a step up in the right direction! Though Target is way more expensive, well Burlington is not more expensive it is Comparable pricing to Ross, it’s just so much nicer and the selection is way better. I will forever be a Burlington member. Love this store and thank you so much to the gentlemen that help me out to my car last time I am so appreciative. Everyone take pictures of the store, but I left some pictures of my home with some of the decor I bought...
Read morePros: The selection of costume jewelry is pretty good, as are the prices for those items- if one needs/likes that sort of thing. The Men's clothing/accessories area of the store looked very neat & tidy. I wonder why that is.... This Burlington has a vast array of luggage & housewares items, and those areas seem pretty well thought out & tidy.
Cons: With the exception of the fragrances in the locked up case near the front registers; the majority of beauty items here are used/opened/no name brand junk! The woman's clothing areas are very spread out, and sizes are not where they should be. Most of the woman's shoes here are just thrown wherever (not in the size rack they belong in), which means that one could end up wasting a lot of time here just looking for shoes.
We didn't see any employees out on the sales floor so, finding help if needed could be a huge problem. This store really needs to train (and maybe treat) their cashiers better. They are...
