Update 1/3/25: All items returned on 11/13/24. STILL awaiting the refund to my Mastercard which should take 7-10 days. I detest Mor. Update: ZERO STARS!! THEE WORST PLACE ON THE PLANET TO BUY FURNITURE BECAUSE OF THE DELIVERY COMPANY THEY USE. They came for the THIRD time and did not take the furniture because they mistakingly thought I was returning 4 chairs. I told him I only have three and he said he cannot pick up without the 4th chair. So the (curse word omitted) left. 11/6/24
After delivery I changed my rating to 1 star. Delivered with dirty handprints, stains, cracks and scraped off paint. The mattress has some firm spots and soft spots that are seemingly worn. This does not seem like a new mattress. It also has a slope to it in which one end is higher than the other. I went to the showroom in Murrieta. Daisy, a customer service supervisor, should not be in customer service as she told me "we are not replacing the whole bed". See pics. After many years as a loyal consumer, I am done with Mor furniture if they cannot resolve all of my issues with this furniture and delivery. They damaged the furniture and did a poor job putting it together.
Trina gets 5 Stars. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I wanted. She was patient and spent a lot of time with me help helping me decide on all new furniture for my new place!
Nope. I take it all back. Today Trina tried to make me think that I couldn't return the furniture and would have to pick something else to replace what I didn't want due to poor quality and damage. Then I spoke with Harrison who responded, " OK. We will process that for you". So easy! But because of my experience with Mor and their employees (except Harrison), customer service, and delivery people I would not recommend Mor. Trina sealed my decision to NEVER buy from there again. They are now in the same category as Ashley's Furniture or perhaps worse. When Ashley delivered bad furniture they picked it up without ANY issues at all which is more than I can say for Mor Furniture. What a nightmare. Oh! And today when they came to swap out the bedroom set, they inspected the set they brought while still on the truck and decided THEMSELVES not to leave it due to scratches and poor workmanship THEY found. THEN, Trina the sales person said that I didn't let them drop it off. The delivery people lied and told dispatch that I refused it. Instead of asking me if I refused it, she accused me of doing so. She also kept telling me "let me see what I can do and I'll call you back" AFTER I told her in no uncertain terms that, "I do not want the furniture". She said she wasn't sure I could return the furniture because it has been sitting in your apartment for a week now" when I told them of the issues the same day it was delivered which is their policy. Then she tried to make it about the REASON I said I no longer wanted it and told me, "well are you returning it because you don't like it, because if..." I cut her off and reminded her that just a few moments ago I explicitly told her why. The furniture was damaged and put together improperly (which she already knew). The swap was a bust. The drivers lied on me instead of owning what they did and said. The customer service was the worst because I was treated poorly by all INCLUDING HER and NOT ONE of them apologized for all of the issues and inconveniences AND they all treated me like I did something wrong or like I was trying to do something unjust. They treated me like an annoying customer because I was asking for what I paid for. I guess it is too much to ask to have my new furniture delivered in perfect condition without fail. Now that I know what to expect from Mor employees and the company, FROM EXPERIENCE, I wish I never put myself through this. I regret it. She also told me that the mattress was nonrefundable. Too many people at Mor treated me as though I was the problem when all I wanted was to buy some furniture. What an awful, awful, terrible experience and such HUGE regret...
Read moreI wanted to share my experience shopping at Mor Furniture. The sales representative, Thomas, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the furniture. The final sale went smoothly ($1600 out the door on last years inventory), and Mor even waived our delivery fee, which was a nice gesture. However, when the first delivery arrived two weeks later, the armrest on the large sofa we purchased was damaged and had exterior scratches. Mor's customer service decided to replace the whole sofa due to the extent of the damage, and their inspection of the damaged areas was waived. I wouldn't recommend buying sofas or recliners with built-in armrests for storage, as they seem to be easily damaged and may have manufacturing defects.
The replacement sofa arrived a week later but was also damaged upon arrival. Dealing with customer service was frustrating because they tended to speak over me during phone calls and didn't answer all of my questions. As a disabled veteran who struggles with people in general, I did my best to remain calm. After returning the damaged sofa, the third replacement finally arrived in good condition. During the third attempt, the delivery crew was terrific, and I want to thank Abraham and Omar for their professionalism and careful delivery handling.
In conclusion, I learned to be cautious about buying furniture that may be easily damaged during transport and consistently inspect it thoroughly before accepting it. Additionally, I was dissatisfied with the buying process as I had to find a way to dispose of my old couch, which cost me $300 and was not reimbursed by Mor Furniture—food for thought...
Read moreSo last night our bed frame broke for no reason. My wife was lying on her side of the bed which suddenly dropped out from underneath her nearly causing her to fall out of the bed. After checking on what happened the side rail had completely snapped. I contacted the warranty support department and spoke with Josephine. She proceeded to say that we had clearly done something to cause the side rail to break. When I informed her that my 120lb wife was just lying in bed she stated that because we have wood floors this can cause the bed to be wobbly and unstable, at which point I informed her that we had anti-slip feet on the bed and that was not the case either, then she stated that warehouse "professionals" stated we clearly broke the bed so this was not a defect and there was nothing she could do. After refusing to accept these responses she offered to sell me the replacement part for nearly half the price of what I paid for the bed.
This is an absolute joke, how is a side rail breaking for no reason not a defect?
Do not buy from this place, once you buy they will do everything they can to get out of supporting...
