Without being too redundant to the other reviews, I have eaten sushi from Japan to Boston and everywhere in between, and I have to admit, One Sushi in Murrieta is at the top of my list.
Food: The Sushi is of the highest quality, excellent presentation, and always fresh. If you get the all you can eat, the portions are always satisfying, and the menu options have a nice variety for even those that do not eat raw fish. They offer non-sushi items as part of the all you can eat as well. The Chefs are top notch, and you will not be disappointed with both the sushi, presentation and their personality.
Service: Amazing, sometimes it can be a little bit slow, but that is usually on Fridays when they are slammed, but it is not because they are slow, they just get so busy. They always welcome you when you arrive, and thank you for coming when you leave. They take your used dishes immediately, so you will never run out of room at your table or sushi bar.
Family Friendly: My wife and I have two children under 3 and we have some friends have two children under 3 as well. We all went together and they made sure they brought out the kids meal before the rest of ours, provide crayons, and other things to keep the kids busy. They always give the kids something when you leave (a little gift). They enjoy the kids, and it always encourages us to bring them back.
Facilities: The restaurant is always clean, they have several large flat screens over the bar if you want to watch a game. The sushi bar wraps around the front of the restaurant, and there are plenty of seats. The dining area is spacious, and you never feel cramped, or that your neighbor is listening to your conversation. The bathrooms are ALWAYS clean, and modern.
Conclusion: There are plenty of choices for Sushi in the Temecula/Murrieta area, but this is for sure the best option of...
Read moreI hate to post negative comments about a business, but unfortunately our experience here in the past has always been great! Last time I ate here was 2015 and since then found a closer sushi bar near my house that's always amazing.. Long story short, we walked in at 9:13pm and they closed at 10pm.. It was still pretty busy and I asked the server if we had time to enjoy all you can eat and she said yes as long as you are already sat and ordering, so we said ok sounds good, she sat us and she took our drink order as we quickly selected our options for the first round, I even filled out the second row because I knew they closed at ten.. All the sudden we get our 1st round and I asked her to put in the second round right away so we had time to enjoy ..she took it to the sushi chef's and they all started pointing at our table and arguing.. I work in the industry so I know what they were saying. Then she came back and said were closed and dropped the check for 80.00! We had only been there to barley eat our first order and we were rushed. I asked for the manager and the server went to look for him and he was outside smoking, he finally comes to the table smelling very strong of cigarettes I gaged..he says what's the problem? I was extremely polite and told him we felt we were hurried and rushed and we barley got any food for 80.00?? He puts up a big fight and says you have to pay in fool, then 5 minutes later comes back and says ok we will make you a second round "very rudely".. We said at this point we are very uncomfortable and don't want you to have to bother with re-opening the sushi bar, he says ok then here's your check for 80.00!! I gave up at that point and pages the bill and walked out. Really sad!! I will never go back there again!! The sushi was packed with rice and imitation crab barley and fish.. To bad.......
Read moreFor those of you out there who are Caucasians, really don't know what is great sushi and what is bad sushi....First of all, rice is improperly cooked and prepared. Tuna and some shell fish weren't fresh. Spider roll, hardly see any soft shell crab in there-it was all burnt to crisp. Put way too much mayo on every thing. If you decide to eat all-you-can-eat and starts to order repeatedly, the sushi chef starts to give you attitude and making the roll larger than it should (put too much rice) so that you will get full faster. This is a Korean owned place. First and Second visit was nice but third was really disappointed with quality and the service from the sushi chef. I've always go for all-you-can-eat and when I did the chef started to ignore you after you order 4th roll. I guess the chef starts to get mundane and get sick and tired of making rolls after rolls but ignoring the customer's request is unacceptable. I had better sushi than sushi One. All of these reviews I read here saying how great it is and giving 4-5 stars are just don't know what they talking about. It is NOT the Best. Real sushi and great sushi comes from real Japanese sushi master chef in Little Tokyo in L.A. not one of these cookie cutter that wanna be "sushi" but owned and operated by Koreans. Quality and Freshness simply...
