Mike was the DJ and MC for our ceremony and reception, he provided up-lighting, and a photobooth and we truly could not have asked for a better person to have done those jobs! From our first meeting with Mike we could tell he had a chill personality and a great passion and knowledge of music and all things weddings. On our meeting before our wedding, we met with Mike over zoom for over an hour and he made us feel less stressed about the overall wedding planning as he was able to answer questions we had about the timeline, processional order, and song selections for every part of the day. He also did not rush to get off the meeting, he took his time to ensure he understood what we had envisioned for the day and that he would be able to help make sure our wedding vision came to fruition. We also asked him to pick the first and last song of the day and he was excited to do so (spoiler alert, he picked a great one). The day of, working with Mike seemed like working with an old friend. He was very chill and remembered everything we envisioned. He was also a great protector of the timeline and kept things moving and was able to make great suggestions when things started to run late. Mike did an amazing job keeping the guests attention and stepping aside to make sure the attention was on my husband and I. Mike also did a terrific job of reading the room and playing the right songs to keep the most amount of guests dancing and also stuck to our song requests on the do not play list, the must play list, and our favorite genres. Additionally the lighting and photobooth were very professional. Lastly, after our wedding we received numerous compliments for the DJ and dancing. Numerous guests told us this was their favorite wedding and we attribute a lot of that to Mike.

In conclusion, TLDR; book with Mike if you want to sleep easy knowing you will have a DJ who will play the songs you and your partner love, songs your guests will love, and who will be a timeline and wedding vision advocate for you. We had the absolute best experience with DJ Mike! From start to finish, he made our wedding day unforgettable. Not only did he keep the dance floor packed all night long, but he also flawlessly MC’d our entire day—from the ceremony to last call—with perfect timing and energy.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the music! Mike has an incredible sense of reading the crowd and keeping the momentum going, making sure every generation was out there dancing and having a great time. His music choices were spot on, and his engagement with our guests made the night feel personal and interactive in the best way.

One of our favorite parts of working with Mike was his online portal—it made curating our playlist so easy! We were able to include our favorite songs, genres, and special requests, and he mixed everything seamlessly into the flow of the night. He even took note of our “must plays” and “do not plays,” so the vibe stayed exactly how we wanted it.

To top it all off, Mike’s photobooth bundle was a total hit! Our guests had a blast taking photos throughout the night, and it added such a fun, memorable touch to the celebration.

What a godsend Mike is. We could not have been happier hiring Mike through C Square Events as our DJ for our wedding. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and understood, and walked us through all the details and asked all the appropriate questions during the quote phase. His communication throughout was impeccable and really made us feel at ease, even with our slightly complicated set ups for both the ceremony and the reception. He understood our goals and style and what we wanted our wedding to feel like throughout. He provided the highest level of service on the day and was the perfect minimal but impactful emcee we were looking for. He maintained three different set ups at our venue with easy and provided amazing audio quality during out separated reception so that our officiants and my husband and I were heard clearly by our guests.
