If I can give 0 star I would have done so. I do not recommend this Pump It Up. I took my four kids Monday afternoon thinking the open jump was 1-4pm. They wanted to try out the place for an hour or two, unfortunately we got lost and got there at 3:30pm. The lady said "Sorry, we are closing in half an hour". The kids decided to come back since she said they were closing. We came back at 9:30am the next day, the same lady was there again. The first thing she said, "Sorry, we don't have open jump until 10am. There will be a long wait." I told her I checked the website. It was indicated the facility open at 9am. She said that was for Spring Camp. Needless to say, we did not stick around. It is my opinion that she is prejudiced and did not want us there. We had a membership at Pump It Up San Diego Facility, even if they are closing for the day, they do not kick everyone out to close at exactly 4pm. We got there at 9:30am when we came back, it's only 30 minutes 'til open jump. Instead of saying, "Good morning we will be ready soon. By the time you fill up your waivers(there were 4 kids), it would be perfect timing... " she told us it'll be a wait, that the 9:00am opening are for those whom signed up for Spring Camp. When I suggested to make the website less confusing when it comes to indicating times for Spring Camp vs. Open Jump, she said "It's very clear, you just have to read it." I'm making a suggestion as a customer from my experience and she turned it around like the problem was me. So, here we are...Scratch that business off the list. My kid with Autism has an April birthday, we were looking to have a party there... but with that kind of attitude and poor treatment of a customer, it...
Read moreOverall a really cute concept. And the kids had a lot of fun. The staff was all really friendly. There are some things that either caught me off gaurd or could improve on in the future. For starters at the front desk there was a young man in makeup and another young man in very tight small shorts. I would have liked to see a dress code adhered to. Some things I think could have made it a better experience is if there was a snack bar for the adults. All the parents are just standing around and there's limited seating. It also feels a bit rushed at the end. The girl assigned to our party was really sweet but she started cleaning up our party during the time we had paid for. I wish the clean up would start once our time is up, (I paid for 2 hours so I want my guests to enjoy 2 hours) I felt like the price of what I paid included clean up time. Also I was told over the phone we couldn't open presents there. Then when I got there she said it looked like I had requested to not open presents I kindly asked if the birthday boy could open some because he was really excited and she said yes. However she started cleaning and told us all our stuff was ready to be put in our car. Lastly, better communication about what will happen during the party as welI. They send you an email there's all this fine print (you can not bring outside food, except a veggie and fruit tray. I had 3 children with allergies so that made it stressful). They call you to finalize food, upgrade package etc.. but no one ever tells you a play by play untill you're there. These are all things that I think the kids didn't notice at all. All the kids had fun especially the birthday boy which is all that...
Read moreThe worst!! Never will I have a party here again. Staff was rude the minute we walked in the door and gave a problem to every guest in our party that attended. When I was filling out the waiver the work rudely put his hand in front of the laptop and told me to stop typing. And, we were then given quick short directions to the room we were supposed to be in. All of the guests that attended had the same experience. Rooms were extremely hot until we reached the last room they finally turned the air on. And, worst of all there was on older women named Elsa that went around rudely scolding our guest. At one point one of the kids in our party was accused of not filling out a waiver the worker approached the parents rudely with his laptop.. seriously we would be treated better in jail. Over the whole situation I went to the front to speak to a manager and she approached me rolled her eyes several times at me and asked what was my problem I said her rude approach to our guests were not appreciated and that her attitude was awful she then again started to roll her eyes at me with a smirk on her face and claimed she was talking to our guest nicely. I have never in my life paid for a party and getting treated like we were unwelcomed and being a bother. And, of course knowing we were unhappy never was apologize to just asked us to spend more $$ to buy the photos they took and wanted a tip. We will never go back and all of our guest talked about the awful experience they had there and would never attend a party there again. Save yourself the $$ and book somewhere else.. seriously a bunch of fun suckers and ruined it for my grandsons...
