Proper Bakery + Cafe — Restaurant in Murrieta

Proper is a new restaurant that opened 3 weeks ago! It's tucked away in a business area so there's plenty of parking.

The owners are so sweet and accommodating. Everything is made in- house and they have everything including cookies, croissants, cinnamon rolls. I like savory goods for breakfast and got the jalapeno cheddar bun. It was nice and fluffy and something that wasn't too heavy.

My partner got the loaded breakfast burrito and it was delicious! The eggs are fluffy and they really load it w flavor since they add the salsa in the mix as well. He was satisfied and food coma-ed in the car.

I stopped by Proper Bakery + Cafe and instantly felt the cozy, welcoming vibe of this family-owned spot. You can tell everything is made with love—from the pastries to the coffee, it’s all top quality. The staff was so friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. Found this spot from a local Facebook post and immediately had to stop by. They truly hit it out of the park with the decor. It’s cozy, spacious, and inviting.
