I have NEVER been in a store/business where management personnel REFUSED to identify themselves by first and last name when requested š” (until tonight)! Went into store gun department and asked lady clerk to verify the weekly ad stating āNever any transfer feesā which she said was correct. Told her I was purchasing a firearm out of state and needed a copy of store FFL to send to who I was buying from so weapon would be sent here. She graciously provided form which I sent to Gun store in Florida to complete my purchase & have it sent here for my pickup. My AR 15 PISTOL arrived viaFedEx this afternoon. I went in this evening to pick it up. Waited 10+ minutes without any clerk being visible (sorry service). My son went to front register area to request help. A young man finally came slowly walking up to us. Identified myself and explained I was here to pick up my gun purchased elsewhere and sent to this store FFL to receive. He went off looking, came back 5 minutes later telling me they couldnāt do paperwork after 6pm & would have to come back tomorrow. Told him all background checks, etc had been done by the gun shop in Florida prior to completing the sale. So all I needed to do was sign for receiving the gun and should be good to go. He went away again and came back saying they could not deliver a āmodifiedā firearm and would have to send it back. Told him this was not modified, but a stock AR 15 Pistol made by *. (He was clueless so I asked to speak to store manager). A lady walked up, put elbow on counter and stared at me. I introduced myself and explained situation to her. She immediately started raising her voice and almost yelling proclaimed āYouāre Not Getting Any Gun From Here Tonight PERIODā! I told her I wanted corporate supervisors names and phone numbers and asked her name and she said they know who she is. Said she would probably lose her job anyway and I said āYes, you probably willā as I WILL call corporate in the morning. She said fine, but Iām sending the gun back where it came from tomorrow anyway!
Fine customer service you get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible experience for me on Black Friday. Went with my son to get a hunting rifle. We waited patiently for an hour and a half with nobody saying a word to us at the counter (but other customers) when a woman came up next to us and within five minutes the clerk who had seen us there for all this time started helping her. When I politely pointed out that he had seen us there for over an hour and she just arrived he said "Sorry" in an attitude that meant 'get over it' and then went right back to helping her. Called the store to let the manager know about this because I felt they needed a chance to address it before I said anything publicly. I'm not even sure that I got through to the main manager because they refused to state that they were the manager when pointedly asked twice if they were, so my guess is that the manager is and will be clueless about their customer's experience. Whoever I talked to was nice and apologized but they did not indicate that they would do a single thing about it and did not even bother to ask who it was that had done this. Can't remember ever being treated so rudely when trying to make a big purchase at a store and management not really making much of an effort to correct it. Personally, I will never spend a dollar in that store. I would much rather make the trip to Bass Pro or Academy any day of the week. Maybe you will have a better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDear Dunhams Sports,
I wanted to share how much I miss Seneca, one of your former employees. She always went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service and made every shopping experience at Dunhams truly enjoyable. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and dedication to helping customers find exactly what they needed made a lasting impression on me and many others.
I sincerely wish that Dunhams Sports would consider rehiring Seneca. Her presence made a difference, and bringing her back would not only benefit your team but also enhance the overall customer experience. Seneca's passion for her work shone through in everything she did, and her absence has been deeply felt by those who had the pleasure of interacting with her.
Please take this feedback into consideration and know that having Seneca back on your team would be a wonderful decision. Thank you for providing such a great shopping environment, and I hope to see Seneca return to Dunhams Sports soon.
Warm regards, A...
