Love-Hatbox Sports Complex — Local services in Muskogee

I had the most amazing time at the Balloon Festival at Hatbox Field, so I will be watching out for other events there in the future. I stayed at the RV area, which was obviously still under construction. While the sites are extremely close together and offer no amenities like picnic tables or even trashcans, they have completed full hook-ups for each site. Several RV patrons were confused about where to park or even where the RV area was due to lack of signage or clear information when making reservations. I attribute this to growing pains and since obvious signs of updating seemed in progress, I'm sure many of these inconveniences will be resolved for future events. A small paved walking trail surrounds the area. I thoroughly enjoyed reading online about the history of Hatbox Field. Once the many plans for it's development are being realized, a small museum onsite would be an awesome feature. Good luck, Muskogee Parks Department! ...

Nov second, just a random day, not a holiday checked the website said til 7pm. So planned for 7 pm. The fire works went for an hour and a half, of pure fireworks! Huge lit up the sky. Was not needed. Who does that and who has the money to spend at this time? Are the holidays not enough? Dont we have homeless and lots of things to fix in the city? We go through this so many times a year. I want ppl to have fun. But also think of their veterans and farmers and doing this so often is absolutely ridiculous. Your community is surrounded by farm animals. At minimum this should be fully advertised and planned accordingly letting all of the community KNOW we will be assaulted by noise pollution so we can prepare accordingly for those with medical issues and those with farm animals. Bad form. ADVERTISE AND LET PEOPLE...

Nothing bad to say about the soccer field or the concession stand. We were here for a travel soccer game, and everything was well-kept and organized. There are random bleachers spread throughout the field for seating, which was convenient. The concession food was reasonably priced too—no complaints at all. Great place for games and...
