Eureka! Found an authentic Italian market. I had the best Italian sub today on a big crusty fresh semolina roll (more like a loaf). For $14.95 it's more than competitive with the Jersey guys but Roma's quality and generosity with the meats can't be beat. Jersey's doesn't even have capicola any longer and when they did it was fake like their horrendous ham loaf. Excuse me for digressing, back to Roma Ray's--they have an extraordinary collection of Italian deli meats and cheeses, including mortadella and capicola (multiple types) that you won't find elsewhere Interesting salamis, the type bound with string. Whole case of pickles, olives, peppers, salads, fresh Italian sausages including the spiral sausage that's near impossible to find here. And, pre-cooked items like eggplant cutlets. Bakery with great bread, cookies and pastries. Anyway, this is the best Italian sub I have had in South Carolina! I wish I had known that they make subs and sandwiches...
Read moreStopped in the mall area going to Old Time Pottery and saw this little place and stopped in... what a find!! While all the shelves aren't filled there is a nice selection plus a deli and bakery both of which are outstanding. First the shelf selection is pasta and other staple food items. The refrigerator section has a nice selection of cake's and other desserts. The bakery section has the freshest, most crispy fresh bread that I have seen in a long time. Bought four seeded rolls, three different types and they were fantastic. Other breads sold were fresh and crispy according to the customers that were buying them. They have Boars Head cold cuts and make great Hero sandwiches which while viewing looked great. We purchased several staple items and can assure you while 10 miles away from where we live will...

We drove from North Myrtle Beach to buy some things for ourselves. The owner and employees were so friendly. We bought cheeses we've never heard of before. We also had some Italian ice, almond cookies, biscotti, and fresh, out of the oven calzones while we were there. We look forward to going back. We also signed up for the 10% loyalty program. They carry authentic Italian groceries that you can not find locally. We plan to...
