The experience started just fine. We had a project we needed help with a top for a Suffleboard. We visited the retail store and everyone was nice and explained we would need to meet at the shop to discuss with the person who would help with our request. An appointment was set and we visited the shop to discuss our request. Again the person who we spoke with was very nice and gave us an idea that would fit our need but needed to work up a price for the project which was fine and we were in no rush. Not long after that I received a text with the price which seemed fair and I texted back to agree to the price and to start the project when they were ready. This is where the issue started. No text received or phone call. About a week or so I texted back no response. A week or so later made a phone call no call back. I guess the decided either they did not want to take on the project or maybe misquoted the price I have no real idea since I was never contacted again. I do have proof with the texts. I would have just been fine with an honest answer but I guess that was too...
Read moreSo, I met the brothers at the home show that I wasn’t even supposed to be at but I saw they did mantles for fire places and I was in need of one so I decided to go to their shop for a visit. Well, as of this writing, the mantle is still in the design phase because of some construction issues HOWEVER, I during my visit I feel in love with 2 pieces of wood, I didn’t even know that was possible. Suffice it to say, I had 2 tables made for my recently renovated home. A live edge console table and a live edge round table, both for the entry of my home. They were delivered today and to say I am excited is an understatement!!! Beautiful and stunning don’t do them justice. The craftsmanship that went into making these pieces is amazing. These young men and their staff are tops in their craft. I cannot wait to find more furniture that I can have made by them in the future! Two Brothers Wood Works...
Read moreThe Two Brothers class on epoxy/acrylic pour was amazing. First, they squeezed me in at the last minute since I was on vacation. Then they made these beautiful flight boards that can be used for food &/or drinks so that we would have a nice piece to work on and to bring home after class. The instructions were easy to understand, and someone was always available to help you along. We learned about epoxy types, how to mix colors, how to apply epoxy and how to spread it into designs. Questions about any other uses were also welcomed. Two hours flew by, and the results looked good enough to sell according to Dave (who runs the store in Market Common which is a must see). Thanks again Christina. You are the perfect host. Someday we'll be back for another class....
