(THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS) Hi, I would like to comment that everything about my experience with this macys was AWFUL. I have NEVER been so unsatisfied by any store in my life like I was with this macys. I was on vacation driving through Naples ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND I stopped out of my way to go to Macys to get my girl friend a pair of sandals for our next stop in the Keys because she didn't have any with her. I found the perfect pair I knew she would love and it was the LAST pair in the store. The lady went and got the other shoe for me and gave me the box and said I was all set. I paid for the shoes and left and we continued on our way to the Keys. When we got to our air bnb I opened the box so she could try them on and surprise her to find only ONE shoe. JUST ONEEE. I was so upset, I called macys immediately to tell them what happened. I get attitude from the person on the phone, basically blown off and told they had to ask a manager if they were allowed to send me the shoe and took my number and address and was reassured I would be contacted by a manager that day. I was NEVER contacted by ANYONE! So two days later I call again and this lady is even worse. She says they are NOT sending me MY SHOE I PAYED FOR EVEN THOUGH THEY FOUND IT AND IT WAS THE LAST ONE. Still didnt get to speak to a manager and she says we dont have any choice but to go to a different macys or travel all the way back to naples on OUR vacation. So we travel to Miami now over an hour away to a Macys there. We are told the other macys was wrong to send us there because they of course wouldnt have that same pair. So now they had to take a hit for a mistake a different Macys made. The wonderful manager at the Miami Macys called the Macys we got the shoes from and even was pissed saying they were so beyond in the wrong!! And so we never got the shoes I PAID for. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN MORE UPSET WITH A SITUATION. THE DISREGARD FOR US THAT YALL DISPLAYED WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY AND WORKED HARD FOR THAT VACATION AND THE FACT THAT I WAS EXPECTED TO BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO FIX YALLS MISTAKE WAS SO BEYOND RIDICULOUS TO ME. I WILL NOT BE SAYING ANY GOOD WORDS ABOUT YOUR STORE TO ANYONE. I WILL BE WRITING SEVERAL UPSET REVIEWS AS WELL. AND THE WORST PART? Fortunately, she was the last Macy's staff person we interacted with, so we left the store (finally) feeling like someone both cares AND is capable. Her excellent professionalism and customer-focused approach is to be highly commended, and doubled the 1-star rating your other staff members earned for Macy's.
Super confusing pricing. 30% of this rack with additional 20% if you have online Macy's Wow Card (which is free online to everyone so why even ask for it?) plus Valentine's discount on select merch, which I had to explain to the cashier that she has to enter the magic code to get, and she still didn't get it right, requiring another cashier to help her who also was unaware of the valentine's discount.
Buying a new bra with my wife was a horrible experience. After selecting the possible purchases, we went to the changing room. Seated outside of the room were the other men waiting on their ladies. As my wife wants my opinion of how the bras look, she asked me to accompany her into her changing room. After helping her change, I was, loudly and publically, admonished for being in the changing room. There are no signs posted stating any rules regarding who is to, and who is not to, be in the dressing room stalls. With me being forced out of the dressing room stall, my wife was forced to come out into the sitting room and seek my advice regarding the fit of her bra, in front of the other 3 men who, quite naturally, looked up, to stare at my already shaken wife breasts. I'm astonished at the lack of sensetivity shown to women, in your store, trying to give you money in an intimate apparel situation. Read moreI received a Movado watch as a gift and went to take it to be adjusted. The first time I went the staff told me they knew how to adjust the watch and while the woman was working on it kept making comments that she couldnt figure it out while banging on the watch with the hammer. Then her supervisor came over and said she didnt know how to fix the watch and started to fiddle with it. Meanwhile, while we were waiting for the manager, the original staff member who was working on it was making jokes about my profession. Then the manager came down and seemed disinterested about correcting the situation or dissuading my fears about having someone who didnt know how to adjust my watch adjust my watch.
They told me to come back tomorrow and I did. This time i asked specifically if they knew how to adjust this type of watch and told the staff member about what happened yesterday. The staff member told me that she was able to and the same thing happened again. She told me she was baffled and got another employee to handle it. Thankfully the second employee fixed my watch but the incompetence in the jewelry department is absurd. Especially when they are working on expensive pieces of jewelry that they do not know...
