Praha Spa and Salt - Salt Cave — Local services in Naples

I purchased a session from Groupon in early March for salt cave. I called and talked to the receptionist and made an appointment for infared sauna with salt. The day of my appointment I was called 15 minutes before leaving my home and told that the appointment was being moved up. Then the woman started asking me all of these questions about the service I would be using. I didn’t understand her questions, as they had all of that information. After much frustration, I went and got the voucher out of my purse and read it to her. She got very uppity and said that it was self explanatory. Then why ask me, when you had the information in the first place? After hanging up, she immediately calls me back and asked me what the receptionist told me. I repeated what the receptionist said to me. I drive 1/2 hour to the appointment and checked in. The man at the desk said I needed a barcode from Groupon. I said that this is the voucher that I printed and I never received a barcode nor have I ever had to use a barcode in then past, as they all accepted the voucher. So for 40 minutes I was left standing there with customers all around me as I tried to call Groupon. I tried to pull up the email, but didn’t have Salt Caves WiFi password. I was humiliated and embarrassed. I was near tears with the frustration of the whole experience. I wanted to become a regular customer after I tried it the first time. But salt cave made sure I didn’t get to use it at all. I was treated like I was trying to get something for nothing.

I came to find out that Groupon doesn’t print barcodes, they go by the voucher. And I have used Groupon before and the seller always accepted the voucher.

If Salt Cave doesn’t want to honor Groupon vouchers, they shouldn’t have signed a contract with them.

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how grateful I am for having come to the Salt Cave in Naples and having met you back in February. I planned on coming in for a foot bath detox, but I accomplished so much more! I am a 45 year old active mother of four. Three weeks before my arrival at the Salt Cave I had been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, Heavy Metal Poisoning, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Adrenal Fatigue, Mycoplasma Pneumoniae and Epstein Barr. I went from doing all sorts of athletic competitions to becoming so fatigued in the Summer of 2013 that most days I was relegated to the sofa at 3pm in the afternoon. After 4 doctors and 7 months of testing I was diagnosed with the above 7 diseases. The latest doctor, although a holistic one, had decided I would need all sorts of medication, mostly to treat the Lyme Disease and the Adrenal Fatigue. I have never been a fan of medication, therefore I was searching for others ways to help myself, get and feel better. I decided to go to the Salt Cave, to get Salt therapy as well as try a foot detox for help with the heavy metals detoxification. Not only did I go through with those two therapies and continue to do them today, but I also was introduced to Dr. Morse’s herbal supplements. These supplements have been a life-saver for me. I have been taking them and the salt/vitamin C protocol for Lyme Disease, both suggested by Andrea and I am feeling amazing. I had to take 2 months and slow down on my intense workouts, but once May rolled around I was able to get back to working out with my usual vigor. In fact, in late June I competed in a CrossFit Fitness competition and came in 3rd place! I am amazed at what these supplements have done for me.

Discovering Praha Spa and their amazing therapist, Tessie Hornus, has truly been life changing! My first experience at Praha was in the beautiful Salt Cave! I live with chronic health problems and physical pain that never really goes away, but about 20 minutes into the salt cave session, my pain was lessened by half! I honestly couldn’t believe it! Yet the longer I spent inside the cave, the better I felt. The easier it was to breathe deeply, and the more uplifted I became! Tessie also did an incredibly enlightening spiritual reading for me in the cave. Like most people today, I’ve been through a lot, but the past few years have been especially difficult. My poor health, exhausting existence, personal life, career, etc., plus a traumatic loss of a loved one.. I was weary on a soul level. I couldn’t see any light in my life anymore despite working with a mental health counselor for years.

So my second experience with the Spa was a Reiki & spiritual healing session with Tessie. As a lifelong, western medicine follower, I’d never tried anything like this. Nor did I have any idea just how much I needed this kind of healing! Not only did Tess pinpoint and treat the areas of my greatest physical pain (of which I’d not verbalized to her prior), she made my soul FEEL the light!!! For the first time in years, I felt like the curtains opened! There was warmth and hope in my heart again! Tess gave me the gift of feeling more spiritually connected than I had in decades! Praha Spa became the launch pad for my mental, emotional, and spiritual healing process, and Tess was the Earth Angel who guided me to this new path!
