Spa 41 — Local services in Naples

I don't give 1-star reviews lightly, but here are the facts: My wife and I planned a long weekend visit to Naples for our Anniversary. Earlier in the week I called and spoke with "Tom" and requested two 90 minute massages for "this Friday" explaining that we would be leaving town on Sunday. Tom was pleasant enough on the phone, and upon booking us said, "we'll see you at 3:30 on Friday." (We were very pleased and excited, as this was to be one of the highlights to our relaxing mini-vacation to Naples.) Upon arriving for our scheduled appointment at 3:30 on Friday, the girl at the front desk informed us that there was no such appointment. She looked further in her book where she found our appointment for 3:30 NEXT week and they are now fully booked and there is nothing she can do. Due to the surge in tourusm, at this point, all the reputable massage therapists in the area are also fully booked. We are beyond disappointed at the lack of professionalism and "not my problem" attitude from Spa 41 and "Tom" in particular. This has put a serious damper on our special weekend. I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone give this establishment their business. There are plenty of other small businesses that care about customers who are more deserving of your...

I didn't want to write this. But due to the condition of my skin right now, I have to. I received a birthday certificate for the serenity spa package. The massage and salt glow were great. The facial on the other hand, did quite a number on me. The Esthetician performed dermaplaning along with a "light" chemical peel. It was all too harsh. I woke up the next day with scratches on my face, and the following week, I started experiencing irritation, dryness, itching, and visible razor burn.

The spa itself has a nice atmosphere, and the employees are very sweet. I just want the spa to be aware of this. I recommend being more gentle on clients, especially the ones you haven't worked on before. You don't really know a clients skin tolerance until you've been seeing them consistently. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else moving forward.

Also, I'm aware that my skin isn't perfectly clear. I had some congestion before I went in the spa. However the facial further caused blemishes due to the current dryness and itching. In summary, my skin is in worse condition than it was...

Can’t say enough. My massage with Elvira was so amazing. Targeting my Problem areas as well as my lymphatic system and muscles. She stretched, paid close attention to muscle details and made me feel beyond amazing. I felt better leaving then going in for sure. Also had her do an exfoliating massage on a water table which is my fav. Total exfoliation and a hydration treatment. Lastly, Mila, did my facial with dermaplaning. She was fabulous as well.
