The Gold Center — Local services in Naples

I was referred to The Gold Center by a friend because he found them to be professional and fair with the sale of his gold coins and other precious metal items. I am so glad he referred me there because I also found them to be knowledgeable, professional, fair, AND friendly. I had a large mixture of jewelry and Metals Trader, Jane, took the time to examine, and verify if needed, and sort every piece. She explained things as she went and answered all of my questions. She takes great pride in her job and that made me feel confident in my sale. I appreciate how she was willing to educate me on things I was curious about and give advice when asked. Most importantly, I felt very respected and not rushed with not only my questions but also my mixture of real and costume jewelry. While my lot was taking quite some time, another customer walked in and Jane made sure another metals trader came to help him immediately. I got to witness that metals trader talk with two different returning customers regarding gold and silver coins and bars. Again, the current and historical knowledge in there, and the willingness and ease to educate people on their items being sold or new purchases made is impressive. Came for a second visit to buy 20oz of silver. Got there on 3/2/2025 at 5:11pm, their advertised hours are until 5:30 online and on the door. Doors were locked, called got answer “yea sorry we had to lock up early today”. That’s not how you run a business, especially when there’s someone still in the building able to answer the phone. Pretty pathetic if you ask me to not be able to stick to posted hours 5 days a week, and then not even put up a note. I know in the grand scheme of this business $700 or so isn’t so much, but it sucks to drive over a half hour and come out of my way to make a large purchase (again large is a relative term in precious metals) and not be able to when the place is supposed to be open. I'm so grateful I found this place! My Dad and I were in Naples and had some bad weather and money to spend so we decided to look to a local coin shop.

The building is nice, the shop is super nice & very secure, and Jane is right there to provide excellent customer service and talking to a true professional in the industry is really refreshing.

But how are the prices you may ask? AMAZING!!

I can't stress how professional the entire process was. Jane is very pleasant to chat with and patiently let's you look at anything you want while you decide what to get. She even tested everything for us to give that extra peace of mind.
