Since when is health care franchised and not linked? Toledo Ohio resident down in Florida on vacation, my wife has Gastroparesis and when she’s gets to dehydrated we typically use these services. It helps being able to use our HSA instead of having to make an emergency room visit. And shell out thousands. Well wouldn’t u know it wife gets sick well we are down here on vacation, so I call this location that’s closest to our air bnb. Dude that answered the phone acted as if I were a bother, I wanted to ask a few clarifying questions regarding affiliation, treatment methods and payment possibly set and appointment for my wife, Guy on the phone was dismissive told me they are privately owned franchises and would not take the membership we paid yearly and dearly for! -(in Ohio) Place isn’t cheap! Then I said this is an emergency situation if we don’t get fluids in her she’s gonna end up in the hospital we have to been living with this for years. Could we possibly Pay with our HSA account, or would u happen to take any insurance or anything along them lines? Again a dismissive attitude. I ended up hanging up on the guy. (Better the devil you know then the devil you don’t dude) last thing we need is a Run in with the law out of state! Then the guy has the audacity to call me back.playing stupid on my voicemail while I was on the other line with “thewellnesslabs” they were nice and understanding. I limped into Prime IV 30 mins after a 2pm pickle ball game in the Naples heat. I had fallen and bruised myself pretty badly. I could feel I had lots of aches and pains I knew would only get worse. I got a sports recovery IV called “the champion” and added a shot of Toradol. In my opinion, the folks at Prime helped me begin recovering before the injuries could get worse. I felt hydrated and the initial pain was dulled by the medicine shot. The EMT set me up with the IV (painlessly) and I sat cradled in a massage chair with a blanket in a dimly lit room. I rested and they took such good care of me. I joined as an annual member, the facility is smaller than most and offers a quiet relaxed setting. Prime IV was very attentive and responsive while I was booking the appointment. I called them and they were busy with another customer but they texted me back very quickly and I was able to get in within 45 minutes. I had food poisoning the night before and not feeling well, timing was everything. When I arrived they were waiting for me with smiles on their faces and Aaron took me straight back (I completed the disclosures online before my appt). He was very helpful in determining which fluid I needed and made suggestions. Within minutes I was very comfortable listening to relaxing music getting the fluids I desperately needed.
