My wife and I went to Atwoods to pick up a couple of items. When we checked out, a young lady named Maria I think checked us out. When the amount of my purchase rang up, I was over charged. No big deal you would think. When I added it up, I was overcharged one dollar. Not much, but if every product in the store is marked up fifty cents at the register, that adds up. At first it seemed as though it would be no problem. Maria could not take care of the transaction, so she gave it to a slim blonde girl at the next counter. This girl was rude to the max. It seems she decided that if we were going to ask for a dollar refund, she would make it as difficult as possible. She got on the store phone to the manager. My wife could not hear the conversation, but it must have been pretty funny as the clerk was laughing it up with the manager. She hung up, then decided to go to the bathroom leaving my wife standing there. I cannot in writing detail how rude this girl is. After about ten minutes she returned, and upon seeing my wife still there, completed the transaction. So by this time approx eighteen to twenty minutes had passed. Atwood must have a ton of money if they can blow off two employees screwing with customers for twenty minutes. Now this is what really loses me off. I left to take the items to our truck, and turn on the truck airconditioner. My sick wife needs air. I had to place steps for my wife to get in the truck. She had just endured cancer surgery, and can't step up onto thee truck running board. She did not tell me all that occurred until we were far away from Atwoods. Good idea! I leave you with this. It is true the employees did not know my wife was sick. This is also true. I don't really think they would care. While I know competent help is difficult to get today, Atwood, you can beat this. I have shopped Atwoods on many occasions. I will not do so in the future. Shop...
Read moreMy husband and I was looking forward to shopping at your store today, when we got to the parking lot the first thing I saw was a man outside the store with a large snake around his neck. I started freaking out but he was on the outside and we park and go in the store on the opposite side. I was looking at the Montana silver Smith case when they came in, my husband new I was going to lose it! . I couldn't wait to get out of 5th store I was nervously looking to make sure I didn't walk up on them ,( the lady with him had a smaller one) . At the check out I ask why it was OK for them to be in the store, they were going to give someone a Heart attack!!!! She said " because we are PET Friendly people bring goat's, dogs etc.." I get that!! I would think the dog, goat's etc would be on a leash... The snake was around the man with it'behind the man's back looking around. I'm just glad my husband saw them come in the store and I didn't walk up on them I would have had a Heart attack...
Read moreAtwood's became my go-to store. The store is well-stocked, the employees are friendly, the store is clean, and the prices are great. The pill treats that I get for my dog, at PetSmart, they are $9.99 for 20 of them, but here, for 20 of them, it is $7.99. They also have live chicks. There is even gifts here, also animal feed, furniture, guns, power tools, and also a country market. There is also free popcorn. The men's bathroom, I thought I was in the ladies bathroom because there is two stalls and no urinal. But the bathroom is clean. While shopping, they have country music playing like at Whataburger. I definitely will recommend Atwood's, especially for people that wants to avoid the crowd at Walmart Supercenter, the traffic at PetSmart, and North State Line Avenue at...
