Union 76 Truck & Auto Travel Center — Local services in Nash

Ok total opposite from my last review here 2 or 3 years ago. Been coming here for years the place was always fantastic always great food and spotlessly clean throughout. However the past 6 months or so I've been noticing a huge difference like changes for the worst. First changes were they took all the paper towels out of the bathrooms, the bathroom floors, counters and toilets are consistently dirty now, oh and a new problem today was that none of the toilets would flush and were all over flowing. They got rid of the daily barbecue lunch specials and they converted the drivers lounge to a storage room. I decided I'd had enough and wanted to investigate to find out what was going on. Asked one of the staff and boom mystery solved they told me they had new ownership there which explains how a once perfect place has been completely ruined within a years time. Unbelievable all it took was new people coming in and trying to fix things that weren't broken but instead were working like a well oiled machine. The worst place I have ever been to! I have been twice. The first time we wanted (3wksbefore) Coffee from Dunkin Donuts, we had to wait over 20 minutes to find someone to work, the coffee was Awful! Went potty in bathroom was nice but was no toilet paper, no paper towels or no soap to wash hands & most the sinks did not work. Next time we went (yesterday) bathroom still was did not have paper towels & nothing still was not fixed. We got coffee & bbq sandwiche, coffee was ok but the cream & sugar dispenser did not work. Texas Best Smokehouse was not good, I have went to Texas Best Smokehouse off hwy271 & Interstate 20 it was AMAZING! But here not so much. I would NOT stop here to go potty, get food, or drink. Terrible Tuesday night / overnight staff & service. Truckers, beware of the blond kid that works overnight. The kid is not capable of pushing a broom, and he's running the fuel desk. It took the kid 20 minutes to complete a 2 minute transaction. In the end, I ended up dealing with an old lady manager who threw me out because I told her she was wrong. Apparently, the lady never makes mistakes; then decides to take her stupidity out on paying customers. I will definitely be having a detailed conversation with the owner of union 76 truck stop about this incident. I give them a 1 star out of 5 rating. There service sucks and have terrible customer relations. They deserve a zero...
