Golden Chick — Restaurant in Nash

I’m a OTR Truck Driver, Driving long hours my fiancé and I pulled off to the Pilot in Nash Tx, to shut down the the night and eat a nice meal before the establishment closes at 10pm. We get in line at 9:15 pm the girl at the register states, we’re not dropping any more meat we close at 10pm but we lock our doors at 9:45 pm. Now mind you there are 4 men ahead of me waiting to order, she goes to say we’re only going to make chicken strips at 9:15pm, she hollers to the cook don’t drop anymore chicken, all the customers were like you can make other chicken before 9:45pm she refused and walked away. Now the cook comes from the back and says, I can only make chicken strips. I was very disappointed in customer service at this establishment. I was looking forward to eating a meal, I only ended up purchasing 3 strips because I was starving at this point, my fiancé went to bed without any food. It was a very upsetting first time wanting to try Golden Chick, Not sure if I’ll even try Golden Chick again, I have in my mind they’re not here to serve the customers, there here to Go Home Early As Possible. To Make a long story short, you won’t be getting any fresh food once 9pm hits here there already closed in...

It seems like golden chick in Texarkana is more worried about opening new locations than good customer service nowadays. They used to only have the one location on Richmond and it was wonderful. Now it’s hit and miss what kind of service you’re gonna get but the one in Nash is probably the worst. The tall girl at the register doesn’t even talk into the microphone. I had to ask her to speak up. And then she didn’t even get my order, right. One girl said she would fix it but then some young kid comes to the window and tells me he’s gonna have to charge me which I said was fine but he still didn’t get it right all I wanted was cheese on my chicken sandwich. Didn’t get my cheese and the piece of chicken on the salad was about the size of a chicken strip. I golden chick just about every day while I’m working in Houston and don’t have this problem every time I come back to Texarkana. We use to get chicken from richmond location ,this was the first time at nash golden chick ,we order 6 pcs tenders with some sides ,when i got my food in a small box. I ask the cashier thats the only food im getting ,she said yes, i was surprise that 6 pcs chicken with fries ,roll and mash potato with gravy ,how every thing can fit in a small box. And i told them it doesnt seem ok to me ,if it some thing not right i will call u back When my kids were ready to have their meal it was 6 very very small size of chicken in the box ,seriously it was not tenders it was nuggets ,so i call them and tell them ,the person over the phone was really rude and unprofessional, have no manners at all. If u wanna throw your money go to this location , 100% ripoff. Bad bad bad customer service .they should have good people who knows how to handle and talk...
