Neighborhood Health at Cleveland Park — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

Dr Balckledge, Karen and the other receptionist are the most incompetent medical staff I have ever encounter in my 60 years. I wittnessed two patients that got very upset with them while I was there on my first and only vist to the office. One because they had an appointment to have their dentures fitted and no one called him to let him know the had come in time for his appointment. Another walked in very upset the appointment had been cancelled for a supposed conference Dr. Blackledge was attending . After they had waited 2 months for their appointment . They were treated with such disrespect by Karen the receptionist it was unbelievable. I should have walked out then. But, I was in such pain and money was a factor .I needed help desperately .When I filled out my medical history I stated I had a heart attack . Karen stated on the chart, that I had a stroke . When Dr Blackledge as me about the stoke .I told her it was a heart attack .The she stated they were two different thing and would have effected how she treated my dental issues .So she needed to get a medical release from my heart doctor because of the medication I was in . Then told me it was up to me to make sure they got this information . After two months of me make sure they got the information. Which they said the never got . I was told by my heart doctor's nurse they never received a request from Neighborhood Health. I ask to speak to the Dr and was told she was at a conference .Then twice Dr Blackledge gave me the wrong prescription twice . Then when I got upset about their incompetence. The treat me with such disrespect that was unbelievable .I had to call the CEO of neighborhood health to have Dr Blackledge to call me back. At which time she refused to treat me . Then they called me this morning about an appointment I never made. To tell me they needed to reschedule the appointment because Dr Blackledge was going to another conference. His always seems to happen on Friday's. She sure goes to a lot of conference. I have come to believe she is really taking a day off . So that means all the people that had appointments. Have to be rescheduled .After waiting 2 months for their appointment. All I can say is run as fast as you can from this...

I really wished they would shutdown all neighborhood clinics!!!!! The physicians are good however the office staff aren’t very courteous at all. I was a walk-in, i arrived around 12:45 i knew it would be a wait, the receptionist stated that they were booked but would get me in as soon as possible. I sat in the lobby until around 230 i than walked up to the counter and asked would i be being seen soon and another lady stated that their last appt was at 3 and i would have to come back tomorrow. I than stated why didn’t anyone tell me this before i just say here and wasted 2 hours of my time. No one said anything. This was my second time coming and my last time coming. The customer service and lack of communication is what did it for me. I than went to the Madison location where i wasn’t greeted i stood there for a sec and was finally called to the window to be told that they wouldn’t be able to see me until 5 like goodness. Seriously for a place that claims to service low income, homeless families it’s the biggest scam ever!!! I went in for a dental X-ray as a new patient thinking that they offered all dental related procedures. After I had paid $55 out of pocket and after they had performed my X-ray they asked me what I was in for. I told them I needed to get bridge work done. The dentist was like we don’t do bridge work. My question is: why are you taking people’s money especially new patients without first clarifying what services you offer and don’t offer? The referred me to two other places. They unprofessionally hounded me for the $55 while I was sitting in the dentist chair.
