Terrible Experience ,I have only been like literally a handful of time and the owner has never been welcoming and it shows in the staff he hires behind the bar. This time was the worst, he started cleaning the bar after my friend finished her food, whihc ultimately was fine however it was aggressive cleaning to the put where he brought out a spray bottle of chemicals and started spraying without mentioning or warning meanwhile our drinks and water were there. Why did he just not say hey can you guys give me a minute to clean this up for you and step back.? Instead I had to say oh wow you're cleaning? and he says yes it was messy. So ludicrous to think that simple customer service is missed these days especially when you are spending money in an establishment all the while we have inflation. I just moved back to Nashville and love to support BOB however this was not okay and just overall we should have better experiences here in the city....

We stumbled upon Plane Jane due to us wanting to stop by the Virgin Hotel first. Because in our city the virgin hotel gets super busy and is super fun. But when we stopped at the Virgin Hotel nobody was there hence why we stopped at Plane Jane. So my girlfriend googled fun Hip-Hop / R&B bars and this place popped up as a suggestion. We were so thankful that we found this place because the bartenders were super friendly. The drinks were reasonably priced, the music was super good. It is a small space but we really liked it since it had enough space for everybody to mingle around. Also it was a waffle cone truck outside that we didn’t get to try since it was already closed. Plane Jane is the name- there's something here for everyone. A comprehensive yet accessible craft cocktail list. You want an easy beer? They got it. If you want to support a black owned Nashville business owned by a local entrepreneur, this is your place. Comfortable, retro, welcoming and warm. Food wise- the owner of Plane Jane also owns the restaurant (Conehead's) upstairs. Though the bar menu offers smaller fare than the restaurant itself, do not doubt that it will fill you to your heart's content. Not to mention- it's a perfect late spot for a nightcap and some of the best rib sticking late night...
