Locally-owned. Very nice guy, who is always pleasant. Just the basics on the grocery side of thing, beer, water, energy drinks, gatorade snacks and essentials.
What's unique? The food. It is one of the last places in Nashville you can get a gyro, wings, fries or even gyro plate for a decent price. A good gyro will set you back about $5.00 with fries. Considering the lack of decently-priced ethnic options in the area, this is a gem. There is a covered seating area outside or you can get things to go.
Value for money, it is a much better meal than a burger chain, and you know your money is going to the guy behind the counter...

He quickly learned my name and greets me by it with a smile every time I come in and sincerely asks how I'm doing. He's great. The shop is stocked with basic amenities, snacks, beer, and cigarettes, most anything you'd find at a market store. His food menu however, is delicious and totally worth the wait (as it is usually just him running the store and cooking as well). Go here. Support this guy and his store....
