I absolutely LOVE this store! When anyone comes to town (or from the other side of town) this is the first place I take them for unique (and very funny) original gifts, and to marvel at the excellent vintage picks from furniture to clothes that the owner curates from what seems like another era & dimension.
I went to the store today and it had the best vibe - completely open, bright and smelling great. The owner Ashley was there and seems the other person who was working there is gone ( FWIW she did make you feel welcome - like you were bothering her for coming in) but those days are over & now seems everything from the shop to the service is excellent!
Ashely is a Nashville Native and has done a really great job of creating an important & original anchor in the neighborhood. It embodies so much of what the area represents & it would not be the same without her & her great shop! Thanks for creating, curating and sharing great stuff ~ and making Old (& New Nashville) so...
Read moreWalking in here yesterday I didn't know what to expect. I had just left the wallpaper store in front of it and was about to get in my car to leave when I saw the OMG sign. It intrigued me and when I walked in I immediately knew I found a gem. The saleswoman greeted me warmly. As I strolled through the well-arranged and ornately decorated store, I realized I happened upon the best gift store in Nashville. I'm not a gift person but if I do buy a gift, I only buy either used or locally-made. Well this store has both. It's perfectly curated with old and new, funky, cute, silly and stylish. I had a hard time choosing from their awesome collection of bags but decided on a mint condition red briefcase priced perfectly. This is definitely my new go-to store for gifts and...
Read moreLike many shops labeled "thrift" in Nashville, this one is extravagantly priced. There's a lot of good finds in here if you go in expecting to pay $30 for a used t-shirt and $200 for a worn out leather jacket. The folks who work here are really kind and have a great rapport with their customers. While I was there I saw the shopkeeper exchange pleasantries with 4-5 customers who she seemed to be on a first name basis with. That made my heart Happy. The owners of the store also have a podcast called Sober Saves Lives, which I love. I had to make a few purchases to help support that cause. Definitely worth it...
