Kevin Jewelers — Local services in National City

My first visit was a couple days before Valentine’s day And I purchased a beautiful gold necklace with a cross for my mother. The debit card machine accidentally charged me more than once but the manager Andres offered me a discount for my next purchase and Andres did not want to return my money (715$) even though I showed proof the money was taken out of my account the night of and the next morning when it was posted and not pending. He told me to contact my bank because they have the money still,but my bank told me they don't have the money and to file a claim. Andres wanted me to wait a week to return my money. And over a month later Kevins jewelers has not contacted my bank at all and still has my money. They have no corporate number and do not respond to emails on their website. I have remain patient enough with these unprofessional jewelers. If you guys come in here pay cash and save yourself the headache. I went today with my boyfriend to see if they had any sales & to possibly get his necklace/pendant cleaned. The ladies working tonight 1/19 were very rude & unprofessional. One of the ladies had told us to wait for his necklace to be cleaned as she was too busy on the computer so we decided to walk around the mall & come back later. My boyfriend came up to an old lady with long blonde hair & glasses & she refused to clean his necklace because she claimed he didn't purchase it at their store. Mind you I have been a long time customer. I have bought multiple rings from this place & I personally bought my boyfriend that necklace & pendant at that store. I have gotten my rings cleaned there before no problem. After the 3rd time of her telling my boyfriend his necklace wasn't purchased there( which it was) she finally claimed that she wouldn't be able to clean it anyways as she was afraid the little diamonds would fall & didn't want to be held responsible. Well first of all I want to begin by saying, coming to KEVIN JEWELERS for my girlfriend’s engagement ring was the best decision I’ve made. I was infinitely pleased with the service and attention I was given by JUAN PADILLA, one of the salesperson here. He was so helpful and understanding of the seriousness of my purchase and which ring I chose. I can’t say it enough, I am so so happy and grateful for the attention I was given. I also wanna thank the management, GLORIA PLASCENCIA, who came out and explained all my options and was also very friendly and helpful.. im DEFINITELY coming back for future purchases and I would recommend this place to anyone trying to find a nice piece of jewelry and wants the BEST SERVICE IN TOWN.
