I was shopping around for a ring upgrade for my wife on our 20th anniversary. What I found was a different company saying to me "you can check online" and then coming to Mathews and instead hearing "let's see what we can find online". One company was simply telling me to do all the work on my own while Mathews was basically saying let's figure this out together and find something my wife would love. Needless to say I stayed with them. I showed them pictures and they worked with me and my budget. I paid a lot for my wife's 3 ring set, had them repair an old ring my wife had when we were dating, and then came back the day after our anniversary to order my ring change to match my wife's and have them fix my watch crystal. I personally liked their on floor selection but it was their customer service that made me happy to keep my business there. And yes, she was shocked and...

Mathews Jewelers has always had great customer service every time I've gone inside their nederland location. I've stopped by before to take a look around, window shop, purchase items, and ask questions. Each time they are patient with me and accommodating my many questions. My first purchase there was on 12/28, I'm sure a very busy time for them. But they still offered to do a quick service to change out the head of a ring that same day. I was kinda blown away. Definitely not happy with service or excuses my engagement ring turned yellow in two weeks! I went in the re dipped it there isn’t really a white gold she explained it’s rodium ok so two weeks after I get it back it turns yellow again and my halo diamonds are falling out this ring was very expensive just very disappointed in the quality of the engagement it’s only 4 months old now my wedding band is still beautiful and white all diamonds are accounted for I will be taking it back in to have the diamond replaced that fell out and to have it...
