PC Home Center — Local services in New Albany

Their customer service has been great. My issue is with the products the choose to sell. We had a laminate flooring installed in my house that ended up not going well. As the floor was laid, the tongue and grooves began to not line up. A company rep ended up coming out from the flooring manufacture and determined a bad batch of flooring was produced causing the alignment to be off. A new batch was ordered and the manufacture agreed to replace at full cost. New batch came in several weeks later and guess what, it suffered from the same issue. Not wanting to go through this problem for a third time, we opted to switch flooring and selected a different brand. That flooring was laid without issue. Current flooring has a 25 year warranty. Fast forward to now, and the third flooring has started separating in multiple spots throughout the house. We were told this would be another warranty claim that would require a company rep and with a warranty case opened. Here is the other problem. We have special made/stained cabinets. Getting new trim work each time we get new flooring is a challenge. We have to cover that cost since it is a special item with a high cost. Needless to say, we are currently living with the third floor PC had put down which has visible splits and defects...

The contractor PC hired to install my hardwood floors did a terrible job. After my hardwood floor was installed, had to have them come out two extra times to repair some items they messed up. They beat up my baseboards and said they would come out and repaint them. They never contacted me so PC said they would take care of it. After coming out twice to look at the job PC decided they would let the contractor handle it, two weeks later have not heard from the contractor.
