Don't come here for lashes. They don't know what they are doing and will feed you with lies when met with complaints. Taking personal responsibility for mistakes made is not hard. Lashes should not fold back into themselves into a spiral like mine did. I have naturally nice long and thick lashes and wanted them to look a little nicer so I didn't have to wear mascara. But now, I can't even wear mascara to remedy what they did-my lashes are bent back into my eyelids and look totally crazy until they grow out... relifting them is too damaging- only solution to a bad lift is to let them grow out. I asked more than one lash tech and was told the same thing.
I was told by other lash techs that they looked overprocessed, and the wrong sized cone was used. I knew they looked messed up when I got them done and went back in to be told they would "calm down" over the next few days and to use the products on them that was recommended I purchase (I was sold a problem and a remedy that didn't really work essentially). My lashes were in great shape when I went in - never have even worn fake lashes, so this is not from prior damage. I was met with a refusal to discuss my complaints in email as I did not want to be lied to again verbally. They eventually agreed to redo them, and I denied that option because I did not want to damage them further so soon after treatment (also recommended by other lash tech).
Also, if they could have been "smoothed out", why was that not offered day of when I mentioned the issue in the chair or when I came back in to mention I did not like the way they looked? Instead I was told they would settle down which is not true and that only happened because my lashes were fine-- also not true-- once they are set they are set and i do not even have fine lashes (if that were the case, the tech should have adjusted for that instead of noticing after over processing them) I was denied a refund or even a partial refund, and no apologies were made nor any responsibility taken.
Edit- the manager bold faced lied and told me that they looked that way because I "asked for a dramatic lift". She said this was in the notes, which is a total lie.
Show this picture to any reputable lash tech. A mess up is forgivable, but telling bold face lies to cover your azz is unforgivable. Mess ups happen, and lashes grow back, but you can't fix anything once you start fibbing. Is "I am sorry let me make it right" that hard? I would have come back for other services and never written this review. Instead, I had to contact my bank to get a refund.
Please beware ladies- dishonest, and will refuse to communicate in writing...
Read moreI had a great experience during my first visit. The place was welcoming and the service was great. I won’t take away from that. One of my only issues, which is a personal preference and good business practice, is when I scheduled a follow up appointment during the visit they didn’t sent a text or email of the date or time. They also provided no card with the appointment date. I ended up unintentionally missing the appointment. They called from a number I obviously don’t know and didn’t leave a message, then I noticed they charged my card. Then I check my email and the business sent an invoice charging me a 50% no show fee for each service. They can send an email for an invoice charging me but no email ever providing the appointment time. Another issue I have is when they added my card on file they explained it manner in which they made it seem as if it was the only way to pay, also stating that it would make future visits easier. Lastly, the recommended time for my next appointment was too soon. All in all, I think to improve business practices and for a better customer experience the business can send a notification after appointments are scheduled of the time and date and/or appointment reminders prior to the customer missing the appointment. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I received an email saying “it was wonderful seeing you and we hoped you enjoyed your visit” and please leave a review… so here is my review.
Update 10/26/2025: Your response has inaccurate information. I can’t miss a text that I never received as shown to you in email through screenshot. I also opted in to receive texts. I would post screenshots but I’m going to let you have it. As stated, the experience was great, but even your practices in our direct contact were poor. Your intent has been to only project blame as opposed to focusing on how to enhance customer experience. Best of luck with your business. Anyone who is thinking of going for service I definitely recommend. My experience isn’t...
Read moreWow! I'm so glad to have found this place. I have had two services done this past week (eyebrow wax & fill and Brazilian,) and I will continue to come here for my waxing needs. The eyebrow wax was better than any I've ever had before. The extra couple of minutes they spend measuring your face to give you the best shape is something I've never experienced elsewhere. I have some sparse areas in my brows and they showed me how to properly fill them in. It took everything in me to even schedule the Brazilian wax. I've only had one Brazilian wax (at another salon) before and it was a horrifying experience. I left extremely bruised and with only part of the Brazilian completed (because it was so incredibly painful that I had the lady stop before she finished.) I shared some of this with the ladies at the front desk, and they were so kind, understanding and encouraging. They assured me that the lady that did my first one was not doing it correctly and that bruising like that is not normal. They gently encouraged me to just let them show me that it could be different. So I scheduled it and hoped for the best. Ashley was incredible! She talked me through the whole process and was so quick. Sure, it hurt a bit, but the difference was literally night and day for me. I also have zero bruising this time around. Thanks for everything, Body and Brow! I look forward to...
