I just did my first Halotherapy treatment. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was just excited for the meditation opportunity. The first thing I noticed was that the sound was like putting my ear to a conch shell. I chose the yellow light for my skin, and for me that also means connection to my solar plexis. As I sat there with my eyes closed, I was transported to the beach as a kid, with the salt air swirling around me as I sat suspended in time and space. Can’t get to the beach today? No problem. Spend 20 minutes (or longer) in the Halotherapy booth for some salt kissed skin and a few moments of solitude.

I’m not too much of a plant person but I love my little Jakey Jake. Shoutout to the amazing owners of Apothecorner for helping me find the perfect little buddy 🪓I also got some cool stickers and a candle so cute that I don’t even want to burn lol. Such a vibe in there, & everytime I walk in there’s some cool new stuff. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already! 😊

Our Halotherapy session was amazing!!! We were greeted by Alan and shown so much hospitality. We were so intrigued by the color choices and we loved being able to connect our own music! Our next session was already booked before we even left the gift shop! Book your session ASAP!

When you are pulled to an unknown place......just going with the flow of the day and stumble into Apothecorner!! What an amazing shop the energy that these young men (Alan the owner and his partner Keithe) have put into this place is like nothing you have experienced the knowledge of well-being, helping others with finding their own self care journey, the constant uplifting communal vibe is not so common in New Bedford from their products to their work shops it's never dull! They are now offering Halotherapy (dry salt and light therapy) the amount of benefits are endless but in simple terms it is a boost for all senses Smell- smelling the salt particles promoting deeper breathing clearing out those bronchial tubes supporting respiratory health Seeing-the salt particles floating ever so gently in the air, peeking out into the beautiful space they have put together all the beautiful colors and products placed perfectly to the happy plants and customers smiling walking through Touching-as they fall onto your skin and the light absorbing you can easily promote collagen production build skin elasticity(Red light ladies no more wrinkles!!)to eliminating impurities to activating the nervous system to energize or relax to relieving inflammation Hearing-the noise cancelling is so important so the dual speakers in the booth can go back and forth activating the right and left hemispheres of our brain and last but not least Taste-a little lick of the lips and wow! It is like nothing I have ever...

I was out in the south end of New Bedford last weekend and happened to stumble upon this cute cozy shop in the mill. Stepping inside was such a vibe already before even getting to explore the products. There were so many amazing things to check out and i love that there were even other products in the shop from local vendors! I went with a few mystery bag & box and a sugar body scrub. The mystery bags were cute and had some lovely goodies inside! (I wont spoil so you will just have to head over and buy one or two for yourself to check out) The body scrub i chose was the sandalwood & vanilla scent and let me just say i am obsesssssed! The smell is amazing and my skin feels like butter! Thanks to Alan and his partner they were so helpful and friendly, i cant wait to stop by again and try...
