Dairy Maid — Restaurant in New Bedford

To the young man who was working this evening and I didn't catch your name but I thank you!! My son dropped his phone in the rocks and me and my kids all were helping to search but had no luck finally as I was leaving my son mind you in tears the young man came out with a flashlight and was searching and waved to us and he had found the phone he grabbed clamps to retrieve it in which seemed like an endless rock pile.. I was so grateful I gave him a hug and said to him shivelry is not dead. Moral of the story is not about a phone I could just buy my son a new one if need be it's the fact that a complete stranger came out from his job to search and help us who also are complete strangers to him... a random act of kindness that in this day and age seem hard to find at times. this place is amazing!! they have a good variety of flavors and good prices. sadly they aren't open year-wide (as expected) and as of now (10/12/22) they close on 10/29 for the season and open back up in april im pretty sure (you can ask them if you go before the 29th) i don't remember their prices clearly but i know what i get comes out to about/maybe a little over $6 (triple scoop of orange pineapple with sprinkles) the 3 scoops its $5.10 and each topping is $0.50-0.75 (i also can't remember) but they always load it good. they also have waffle cone options but i find it difficult to eat during summer due to the heat so if you do get waffle cones make sure you have a lot of napkins or wipes. i have always loved this place and i definitely think that whoever is reading this...

Got two soft serve orange sherbet and vanilla twist. First the color of the sherbet is so strange, it’s not like any other sherbet I’ve had so it’s super processed...... ended up tasting like it too, did not taste like orange sherbet but instead just extremely artificial....although I literally too two licks, with the second lick the entire top of the cone came off falling in between my seat and center console. What an absolute mess. Had they filled the cone with ice cream and continued to the top instead of just a round blob on top of the cone that wouldn’t...
