Aaron's Rent To Own — Local services in New Britain

This place is great. I did away with a lot of my furniture including my bedroom set when I considerably down sized. When I finally moved back into a larger apartment, I realized that I would need to replace all that furniture. With credit still trying to build and not wanting to dump all my money on furniture, I went to Aaron's. I was greeted the very moment I stepped in the store and there was someone helping me in moments. At first I rented only a washer, then about a week later decided on a bedroom set. I did a cash and carry twice now and they had prompt delivery for all of these. I usually come in with my son and everyone knows us by name and they're all extremely nice. My son will kick his shoes off and try to nap on the couches while I am writing out my check payment! Haha! One day I was having trouble getting out there to make my payment and I was late. Instead of charging me a late fee, they offered to send someone to my office to pick up the check. Very convenient. I don't agree with people that it's pushy (they deserve to be paid too!!) All in all, I love doing business...

My experience was very upsetting. I ordered a bedroom set, living set and Television. I was told the items would be delivered on Friday 4pm to 7pm. No one showed, called or delivered the items. I called the store and requested to speak with the store manager, Andre. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He canceled my delivery and didn't notify me. What a inconvenience. He said they were still waiting to hear back from my references. Please keep in mind that I completed my application two weeks ago, merchandise paid for. The manager offered no solution, he was upset that I was upset. He refunded my money, refuse to give me the refund policy. He hung up in my face. His sales rep Destiny was unprofessional, neglected to do her job and follow-up. I would advise to avoid this store all together. Unless your looking for a ghetto experience. Avoid at all cost. So they cant call you non stop bang on your door for almost and hour demand payment or the merchandise. Swear at you and follow you when your walking out of your home? Discuss your account info with ur references question your neighbors of your whereabouts. Call your job show up at your job they do that. Only have a few payment left and told them i refused to pay them another penny bcs of their unprofessionalism. Said theyd stop doing all the things they are not supposed to but continue doing them anyway have made a report to better buisness buero everything they have done is SEVERELY UNPROFESSIONAL i am a supervisor and if i had an employee that did the stuff this store manager and employees do theyd all be terminated immediately.
