Dragon Garden — Restaurant in New Britain

I put in an order on the phone for dinner and ordered 1 plate of boneless spare ribs/pork fried rice, and another order of chicken wings (plain chicken wings) and sweet and sour sauce on the side. Over the phone, the person I spoke to didnt seem to understand what I was saying but said “okay”. Since I ordered that from there before I thought there would be no issue. When I go pick up my order, they got the boneless spare rib combo right but gave me barbecue wings and rice. When I told the lady at the window the order was wrong, she proceeded to get upset at me as if I was inconveniencing her and started arguing with me saying that’s what I ordered despite the fact that I spoke to someone else on the phone. She was not budging and I wasn’t buying another order so I just walked out with the food but I’m never ordering from this...

Cook did not follow directions or my order was not communicated correctly. I had my order delivered this time after just getting off a plane from FL, only to have one dish super spicy which I cannot eat. $12 down the drain. When I called to ask what happened, she first said someone will return to my home with the correct dish I ordered, then called back to say the driver had an emergency. That's all fine, but they refused to give me a refund stating they only issue a refund if the product is returned, and suggested I refrigerate the unwanted dish for the couple of days until I can bring it back myself. I was so shocked at this poor customer service that I laughed. The rest of the food was dry and again, the order was not followed where I requested extra sauce. Just bad bad...

This USED to be my favorite restaurant years ago. What happened to the whole business. The little girl that was little and nice is now stern and not nice. The food is old and has thick grease that is hard to get off my tongue and inside my mouth. The ribs have nothing but a large bone, no meat. Well all the meat that there was did NOT fill a tablespoon. What bothers me is I let my grandson take a bite of the lo mein , which used to be great, he spit it out. He is 6, he knows. Nothing is fresh there that I bought. The garbage ate $42.00 worth of food. We threw it all in the garbage. Including the egg rolls. I am shocked they would serve that crap. Very disappointed. When older folk let the young take over, the young ones drive the business over a cliff....
