This is my first and my last time ever renting from Any where, due to the lies this place have told me. I was told I was getting the washer and dryer from the show room. This was on Monday 02/04/2019, and that my delivery will be on Monday due to it being a busy store, and my delivery will be from 12pm to 1pm. Ok that I can understand. Today 02/07/2019 Thursday. At 12:58 I get a call at work telling me they tried to verify my references today, and my land Lord today at the time they where supposed to be bringing my washer and dryer, and if they can not contact them that I will not be receiving the washer and dryer. But they already took my first payment on monday.. so I had to take a brake from my job to do what they should have been doing since Monday 02/04/2019, until the day of my delivery. So I get everything set up for them, and everything clears. They get here at 5pm saying it's because they had to pick up my washer and dryer.. but the manager told me that I was getting the one on the show room. And I asked him do you have the set up here, and I was told yes we have everything but the dryer filter that hooks up to take the lint out. Wire is in the store. The guys get here and tell me that they do not have the wire and someone is picking up from Bristol to give them an hour to get back to me. I said ok that's fine. This was at 5:30pm, 6:39pm I call the store and I asked very calm has my wire for the dryer come in?? And the lady on the other end tells me oh the manager had to go to Bristol to pick it up and he just left.. so I said ok that's fine will he be here today? And I was told maybe we don't know.... so I say what do you mean you don't know c ant you call him, the guys told me at 5:30pm that I would have it in an hour so I started to wash cloths.. the lady say oh wow. Let me call the manager to see where he is. She puts me on hold, and when she gets back she tells me the manager will be bringing it to me that he had to go to the store first to get my address because he did not know where I lived.. I then told her could he have not asked you over the phone. Like I've had a long day dealing with rent a center and I don't feel like anyone is telling me the truth. She tells me well I don't know about everyone else but what I'm telling you is what's going on. I don't think anyone is this store knows how to treat a customer. Just because I come here dose not mean I can't afford to buy anything. Just helps me not having to pay all at once. I take care of 6 people not included myself. And the games that where played today was not right and just unprofessional... I would never send anyone to this store, and once I am done paying it off I will no longer continue business with this company. I hope that one day you can get the right staff working who cares about the future business with...
Read moreI have been renting from Renta Center since 1997. I have been a loyal customer to this company. The benefits plus is a sham once again. Back in 2003 I had rented from Rentacenter I wonder up unemployed and I paid into the benefit plus then. They where giving me such a run around that they took my furniture.... Here I am renting once again from Renta center and again the benefits plus is a sham. In January I had surgery I became unemployed I thought that I could fall back on the benefits plus that I had been paying since I start of my contract. Guess what the response was. First I had to bring my account to good standing .... Did they not realize that if I could have paid it I would have.... I didn't. Have the means to pay... Them I get the the rental back to good standing .... I still try to get help and help wasn't Available. I had requested from the very beginning not to put that benefits plus.... The sales rep said that there where a new entity. That I should not be worried because it was a.new company.... Ok so why is it that when I tried to get help from them it was impossible... Rentacenter should return me my money or equal to it ... I haven't rev ciewed no help from the benefit plus program not once ... But if you count from the week that I started to rent the product it's pretty penny.... I don't recommend anyone to get the benefits plus it's a sham ..... They don't help you. The sales rep from Rentacenter don't want you to be aware of this. I am totally disappointed cause I have called the corporate office and this has been a very long process.... I am utterly disgusted in the way I have been treated.... It's not like I just started...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience at this location granted there were some issues with receiving my full order, sometimes things happen out of the control of the store’s particular location. But Karen was a true delight and she went above and beyond to accommodate me and I cannot thank her enough. Everyone I spoke with was nice and eager to see me happy as their customer. The 1st living room set delivered couldn’t fit through my door so Karen found one that could and it was nicer than what I had originally picked out and it came brand new! I ordered some accent chairs and 2 patio sets but the manufacturer didn’t deliver them in time for my event so Karen pushed to extend my rental for a few weeks on the house. And that folks is how you treat your customers whenever there’s a discrepancy no fault of the customer. The manager Isaiah was very nice as well, Phoenix and I can’t remember who else I spoke with but overall Karen takes the cake. She was patient with me went over everything to make sure I had a clear understanding of everything she helped me pick out the items she took her time and searched online for me just a beautiful soul she is. I want to be sure that her employer is as great to her as she is to her customers!!!!! Rent a Center Corporate Office be very good to her she is a key ingredient to staying in business!
