I visited this establishment on March 19th, 2022. I was assisted by what seemed to be a new employee in training, which I have no issue with because he made my sandwiches perfectly fine. However, when it came to paying things got a little confusing. Initially the gentlemen assisting me was ringing me up my total was $21.21 for two footlongs, fine I go ahead and insert my credit card when I look at the machine it stated “Approved”. However, another employee (female) comes to the register and tells me my card did not go through, and although it was a bit strange I said okay and instead paid with my debit card which was also “Approved” according to the machine. As I go to leave I receive a notification from my credit card company saying your transaction with Subway for $21.21 has been approved so I go back to the cashier and tell the lady “hey it looks like you charged me twice” she rudely told me “No no I only charged you once” and handed me a receipt as she basically dismissed me and walked away. I allowed a few days to see if the charge would be dismissed by my credit card as it was in a pending status. As I checked today I was charged on both cards, as I went to dispute it with my credit card and was advised to contact the merchant which I did. I called corporate to try to get this rectified, and was told that I would need to handle this with the actual Subway I was charged at. Fine, I called this Subway and asked if I could speak with the owner or at least request a callback from them, the employee stated that the owner does not do callbacks and I would need to speak with him about my issue. I am writing this to see if the owner could please contact me to try to get this issue rectified as I basically paid $42.42 for two footlongs. I can provide the proof of both of my cards...

I sat there for 2 minutes waiting for the older lady to finish angrily speaking to the younger lady in a foreign language before being acknowledged. I asked for a my order then the younger lady just walked away for a minute. Then she came back and started making my sandwich. Not sure where she went but whatever. I had ordered a combo so it came w a soda and 2 cookies. I told her the 2 cookies I wanted and then she just completely picked 2 different cookies. I was too tired to argue. Then I went to pour a mt dew from the fountain, and it has a hint of raspberry tea. Clearly someone mess up up replenishing the soda and instead of cleaning the lines just unhooked the tea and put on the mt dew. I finished my sandwich and then went to use the restroom but it was locked. I walk back to the front and the lady says I have to lift the handle up to get in. Not only was I standing at the counter for more than 10 minutes, but another African-American customer came in and was standing there and decided to leave when no one came out to service us. Finally when two older women come in who were not African-Americans the two Indian women come out of the back and are so ready to service them. I was so upset because I was standing there for more than 15 minutes and I had to leave because I needed to catch the bus. they were smiling and laughing, and were so ready to greet the other people and not me.
