The Station — Local services in New Cumberland

We had a fantastic intitial experience with the store. We were looking for a new railking set for our son. They could not have been more helpful. We knew what he wanted and they were great.

We ran the train on wi fi at home it ran great. Later on monday after we bought the set on saturday he ran his train at our open house for the holiday. The club added the train to the handheld controller and it ran great.

We wanted to run the train at home and it would not connect to wi fi at home on Tuesday and wednsday. I called mth and tbey tried to help. I thought it may have been the way it was downloaded on another system. Mth was busy and we tried everything.

Now i called the station. I explained the situation to the owner and she seemed as if she did not care. She would find out some information and call me back. No call back so i called on friday and said if we can not get the train to work can we bring it in and exchange the set. She would not even talk about that. No way would she do that. O asked to talke to the technician and she would not let me.

So i talked to mth one more time. Was told to have the train at the club reset to factory settings. That did the trick.

With no help from the retail store for a technical issue and an option to return the product, i will not be going back. I wish i felt different because the...

This store is very friendly and they have a decent bit of knowledge on the products. It is a fun and friendly environment. They can get you what they do not have. However they have a lot of products. The only issue I have with this store is that they do not price match.

I want to buy local but when there are better prices out there by a large margin (sometimes up to 100 dollar difference more), it holds me back a little. If they change this policy I would be more apt to spend a lot more money in the store! I would rather clear their stock out than another store.

All in all great place, but if your going to make a big purchase (IE: a MTH premier O scale engine) ... since they don't price match, other places can save you a...

I received a train set that was my Uncle John’s that was purchase in 1947. It wasn’t ran for the past 40 years. The shop serviced it and it ran until ( I was told later) that a wire came loose. My grandson was coming for Easter and I planed running the train. I took the train to the shop and was informed that the repairman could get to it Saturday. I was sad, but what could be done. Hearing that my grandson was arriving Saturday, they loaned me an engine they use to test out trains and equipment brought into store. Now that is customer service and has made me a customer for life. Ps: You will never receive this kinda service and kindness from Amazon. LOYAL...
